Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan discusses Biden drilling obstruction on CNBC

He mentioned many areas of obstruction, but the one that stood out to me, possibly because it's what I've claimed all along, is that drilling permits are being held up at all stages.  He said that there over 4000 drilling permit requests, and the chick (Bureau of Land Management) who's agency in Alaska is in charge of approving permits won't approve them.  In the past, her team approved such requests.  Now, she's stated that she and only she will be approving drilling permits.  These permit requests include background on the projects, including engineering plans and environmental concerns, and many many other things.  I'm sure she's following orders, and she's been told to obstruct drilling.  My buddy Pete was involved for decades in such meetings, and he told me how Obama strangled things.

I'm hopinng that CNBC posts this interview soon and I'll add a link.  A link that our resident Libs won't watch, because it's quite obvious that they don't want to know the truth.

If a drilling permit is applied for but not approved, there's a good reason for that. That's the truth, and intelligent people already know that, even if you, O Oil Industry Expert, don't.

Of COURSE the oil companies bitch bitch bitch about regulation. They want unrestricted drilling everywhere, with no regulation or oversight--even though the vast majority of permit applications are on PUBLIC LAND.

Let me ask you, Boiler--can you or I just go onto public land and dig up minerals or chop down trees or whatever? No! Because we don't own that land--it, and its resources, belongs to the people. A concept you conservitards claim to cherish.

But you know why your argument is really really stupid and a fucking lie, Boiler? There are currently over 4,000 outstanding drilling permits that aren't being used in the US. Four thousand! So it's not a lack of drilling sites. It's a lack of will to use them. The oil companies have, for YEARS, restricted supply to keep prices high. And that's what they're doing now.

It's such a goof that the oil companies have duped people like you into blaming the government for their manipulation of the markets.

Reasons for not using the permits include dry holes, not enough oil there to profitably drill and lack of access to the site.

Approved permits in 2021 were old applications from the Trump administration.  Since then permits have been stalled as the biden gang continues to ignore court decisions to approve them.

Hiding behind alleged climate concerns is a copout for the anti-fossil fuel biden gang.

Toxic kevin's claims about the govt not being in the way is as valid as his claims that women can play in the NBA.

Kevin, the Bureau of Land Management has gone from a team of many people reviewing such permits and now a single person is doing so, the lead person.  It's another example of Biden's successful effort to obstruct drilling.

You're response makes it clear that you don't understand the intentional and artificial bottleneck.

Stupid Tommie-poo, your thinking is muddled, as you form a conclusion before examining the evidence and THEN cherry-pick the evidence that you think supports the conclusion you've already drawn. That's backwards reasoning, stupid Tommie-poo.

Here's why your reasoning is stupid:

1. "Reasons for not using the permits" also include not wanting to do so, in order to restrict supply and keep prices nice and high. Or maybe you're trying to tell us that the oil companies are so stupid as to apply for over 4,000 permits at locations where there isn't any oil?

2. The Biden administration cannot and does not ignore court decisions about drilling permits. So, you're lying about that.

3. Climate concerns are real. We're in deep shit precisely because of ignorant assholes like you.

4. Government regulations are necessary. The government isn't "in the way" here any more than the FDA is "in the way" of drug companies, or the Highway Patrol is "in the way" of motorists.

Stupid Tommie-poo.

Here is a link to a portion of Senator Sullivan's interview.  https://www.cnbc.com/video/2022/03/24/u-s-government-should-get-its-boot-off-the-neck-of-american-energy-producers-says-sen-sullivan.html?&qsearchterm=dan%20sullivan

Kevin really needs to get better grasp os what's happening.  It's so obvious that he won't watch such interviews because he comes at us with this amazing ignorance.  He doesn't want to know what's happening in drilling, yet he argues that nothing has changed from the government perspecitive.  EVERYONE in the business explains just the opposite is true and that Biden is obsytructing.

Weak, lame and full of lies - what else have we become used to with Lewis's responses? Surely not the truth.

You can't refute anything I said. You're weak.

You really think that Republitard senator, from the state that elected Sarah Palin, is even remotely objective?

What is the senator's objective that you disagree with?
