Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan discusses Biden drilling obstruction on CNBC

And a big, fat SO what ?  The bullshit argument we keep hearing from the right is that US oil companies would provide more supply if only they had more places to drill.....when in fact the places they already have access to are not being fully utilized.   ON PURPOSE.      Hence their record profits they are enjoying and dont want to mess up

This is now the hundredth page of this debate where our resident conservatives keep ignoring the undercapcity at existing wells and try to explain as a lack of access to other places.    It was bullshit on the first page of this debate and 100 pages later its still bullshit.     The fact they keep trying to change the subject proves it.

But thanks for stopping by !

  I don't argue - I only speak the truth.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all week.

At given time there are thousands (10,000 in 08) of outstanding permits.  Currently 25% of them are tied up in court.  Others are still be held up govt regulations.  Most recently a Federal judge held up permits on 80 million acres

Other permits have dry holes or are inaccessible.

Tommie-poo, the oil companies have you thoroughly duped.

New permits aren't required for land they already have permits to drill on....and aren't.

You know nothing | The More You Know | Know Your Meme

Here's how the drilling biz works.

1.  Exxon get s lease for a site

2.  Exxon gets a permit to drill............almost impossible now.

3.  Exxon does exploritory wells to see if the leased site is worth exploring aftern a cost benefit basis.

4.  If the cost benefit analysis doesn't work, they walk away.  If oil prices change, decisions may change.

5.  Oil leased on federal land are good for 10 years, so some just sit there due to current economic conditions, and due to the cost of regulations.  The more money spent fighting Biden and friends has an imparct on the cost benefit analysis.

6.  Today, this very minute, Biden and friends are making it difficult to get new drilling permits.  Bitch all you like, but that's a fact.

When Biden raises to cost to drill a well though stonewalling, regulations, and more, less finished wells happen.

Anyone who argues that point has his head in the sand.

I beg to differ, anyone who argues your points has his head up his ass.
