Gun sales amid coronavirus pandemic spike 71% in April

( Poor old DonDiego cautions: don't forget ammunition )

Cowards. They prepped for Armageddon with canned meat, dried bean, ammo, guns, and so on. But keep them away from Applebee's for a few weeks and they just can't handle it.

Fortunately, they are a minority. I hope the world doesn't judge our country by these losers.

Prepares for what, DonDiego? For the long-awaited delicious opportunity to shoot them uppity Black folk and teach them a lesson?

While I am not completely conversant regarding the various measures one may take regarding the threat of the coronavirus, I'm pretty sure that you can't shoot it. There have been no studies exploring a correlation between number of guns owned and coronavirus mortality. There have, though, been studies showing a connection between gun ownership and accidental gun deaths in the home.

Kevin Lewis must seek out those purchasing firearms now for an answer.  DonDiego has not purchased a firearm for decades.

The suggestions above for canned meat and dried beans might be a good idea too.

The title of the thread suggests that DonDiego believes he knows why those gun sales are spiking.

But since he doesn't know, I suggest a theory---that gun love is even more compelling for the buck-toothed yahoo crowd in uncertain times.

Guns will protect neither Bone-Spur Don nor Hypocrite Don from what really scares them--the social, economic, political, and demographic evolutions that are changing America.  Buy all the guns you want Don, lots of ammo too; but, I'd recommend the beans.

OK.  Beans it is ! ! ! 

I would submit that if conditions in America deteriorated to the point where one needed to resort to one's stockpile of beans to survive, the world into which one eventually emerged, hopefully before the beans ran out, would not be one wherein one would be grateful to have survived.

I mean, no pizza, no wine coolers, no roller derby...what would be the point?

Poor old DonDiego opines that Kevin Lewis underestimates the likely persistence of pizza.

Thank God the Republicans gave Black people the right to bear arms, the Democrats tried their hardest to prevent this, but a few Democrats saw the light and realized they should be able to defend themselves from getting shot by the Democatic KKK.
