I spent a lot of time in Florida as a kid and then all the way up until my mid 30s. Haven't been back since and you couldn't pay me enough to live in that fascist state.
If angry, old white fox news viewers want to move to Florida more power to them. They can have the place.
The fact is that people are fleeing high taxes........and crime.
If they are fleeing crime, they are going in the wrong direction. Florida has a violent crime rate of 383.6 per 100k residents while New York has a violent crime rate of 363.8 per 100k residents. People fleeing crime should avoid Texas at all cost as they have a violent crime rate of 446.5 per 100k residents. Indiana is right behind New York with a violent crime rate of 357.7 per 100k residents. Are you getting ready to flee Indiana yet?

Well actually most red states are taker states and most blue states are maker states as the taxes from blue states pay for the infrastructure in red states.
Texas and Florida are awful places, with terrible weather and mean, nasty, violent people. They joke about murdering Mexicans and their elected politicians perform stupid political stunts instead of governing. And they're completely incompetent! See, for example, what happened last year when it got cold in Texas: giant clusterfuck followed by power bills for ten grand. Yee fucking haw!
Da Wall should be extended to run along Texas' border with the actual United States.
What Floridians don't pay in taxes, they pay more, if they can find it, in insurance.
