Texas and Florida are awful places, with terrible weather and mean, nasty, violent people. They joke about murdering Mexicans and their elected politicians perform stupid political stunts instead of governing. And they're completely incompetent! See, for example, what happened last year when it got cold in Texas: giant clusterfuck followed by power bills for ten grand. Yee fucking haw!

Da Wall should be extended to run along Texas' border with the actual United States.

Texas is the perfect place for people like you. Please stay there.

Data is from 2020 & includes all of NYS &  prior to the NYS no bail law.  Current NYC violent crime rate is over 600.

Other reasons to leave NYC in no particular order

crime

taxes

cost of living

long commutes

traffic - not unusual for a trip from the Bx to Brooklyn to take 90 minutes

Driving around NYC requires a roll of quarters for meters, lots cost in excess of $40, round trip bridge tolls cost            around $13

education - public schools collapsing as enrollment has declined 10%

None of those problems is unique to NYC--any large city has them. And as far as what you call (stupidly and inaccurately) the "no bail law"--letting you walk around free hasn't caused any harm, has it?

One could argue against the existence of ANY city--definitely including all RepubliQ strongholds--by making a laundry list of negatives. I could easily make a similar list of positives. One of the most significant ones would be economic opportunity. People put up with high housing costs, traffic, etc. because NYC (and cities in general) offer good, high-paying jobs.

And BTW folks--"Americans are moving" from Florida and Texas to New York, too. And Arkansas to New Mexico. And Missouri to Oregon. And Hawaii to California. Et cetera.
