You know, while that's a conservitard gun love fantasy, the chances of one or even several armed--what? security guards? teachers?--being able to stop a shooting such as this are infinetesimal. They'd have to be very lucky to be in exactly the right place at exactly the right time--and be able to outshoot an assailant with multiple automatic weapons and extra magazines. These Republicans--er, mass shooters usually show up with enough weaponry and ammo to kill dozens of people.
It would certainly help if it was impossible for any wackadoodle with a pulse to buy enough weapons to kill a small village, with no background checks of any kind (Slaughterhouse Sam's Gun Show).
