Another day, another mass school shooting...

Those damn guns keep shooting themselves!  And again, for the thousandth time, do you really think the bad guys and deranged won't be able to get a gun somehow?

How are the drug laws forbidding people buying drugs doing?  Dems are so gullible.  But again, that is why are they are the party widely considered as the "low-information party."

Sorry, Jerry, this idiot argument of yours is old, and tired, and shamefully wrong.

The choice is NEVER between completely preventing something bad and completely allowing it. Your argument is like saying we should either completely forbid driving or have no traffic laws at all. Or that we can't completely stop air and water pollution, so environmental regulations are pointless.

Obviously, if we make it harder for people to obtain guns, especially those used for mass killing, at least some of the wackadoodles won't be able to obtain them at all. If we make it illegal to sell them, it will likewise be harder to get them. I mean...DUHHHHHHH.

In point of fact, we can cut gun violence down by about 90% with strict enough laws. Why do I say 90%? Because Western Europe and Australia have about 10% the gun deaths per capita that we do, and those societies are quite similar to ours.

But let's say we collectively decide to keep our manly man guns but decide to take a few baby steps like actual background checks, banning assault weapons, no gun garage sales in a tent, that sort of thing. Let's say those incremental steps reduce American gun deaths by oh, twenty percent. That would be 9,000 fewer deaths per year.

JESUS, FUCK, ISN'T THAT WORTH DOING???

My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband," Biden said from the White House's East Room in his first public appearance since a 28-year-old woman shot and killed three students and three teachers at a Christian private school in Nashville. "I eat Jeni’s ice cream — chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream," he continued. "By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs," he added. "You think I’m kidding? I’m not," Biden told the crowd.

Watch the end as he wobbles off the stage

How is that working out for drug availabilty in our country right now?

I'm not against giving it a try but I think you will find it has very little effect other than taking guns out of decent people's hands.

Who is trying to take guns away from decent peoples' hands?   Kindof a strawman argument, dont ya think?

Here's the thing....the states that have made good faith efforts to stop lunatics from getting guns have better gun homicide statistics compared to the states that say the 2nd Ammendment should have no restricitons.   I dont think thats a coincidence - do you?

I'm not against it if it might help.  All I'm saying is it will make it harder and more cumbersome for good people to get guns as most of the nuts just get them from the corner thugs on the black market.  My brother is a sargeant in police district and that is coming from him directly from him but he should listen to this forum to the experts more.

So the liberals here think it was appropriate for biden to open his talk on the Nashville shooting with jokes about ice cream?

Yeah, we must not burden anyone that wants a gun. Buying a gun should require nothing more than a pluse.  However, voting should be made as difficult as possible.

Was it a planned event? Did the news break about the shooting?

It's worked where it's been done. Nationally and internationally.

And a decent person doesn't need a gun.
