Trump's response after white supremicists murdered people in Charlottesville was to say what a great bunch of people they were.    I dont recall any of our board's right wing media police shitting their pants about that.   In fact, they all voted for him a second time as soon as they got the chance.   

 

And lets be honest, Joe Biden actually has ideas to address gun violence beyond the nauseating, feckless  response of "thoughts and prayers" you get from every NRA pocket politiican  on the right.    Dont hold your breath if you're waiting for Marsha Blackburn to offer any solutions beyond that.

People aren't grading Biden on his jokes.  They're questioning his judgement for inane banter about his ice cream habit immediatly preceeding his remarks on a horrific school shooting.  Maybe he's at a point where he can only read whatever is on the teleprompter without any ability to contextualize what he's really saying..    "End of quote.  Repeat the line."  

 

And the fact that he wasn't there to speak about the shooting is an idiotic justification of his inappropriate remarks....unless his handlers didn't even tell him he would be saying some words about the Nashville Massacre.  That would be even more of a concern.  But I'm sure he knew. He was simply oblivious, blundering, careless, and disrespectful....again.  Nothing to see here.

His position on guns is a known quantity.  And so is that of his opponents.   Inelligent people  base their votes on those positions..
