Another teen "Takeover" along Lincoln Park.

Hundreds of thugs took the redline train north to the Lakeview station, and terrorized the neighborhood.  This area is what PJ claims to be Lincoln Park, since it borders said park.  In fact, this area is Lakeview.  This sort of thing is why my friend left.  This "Shut Down", as these punks also call it, happened 0.6 miles south of Wrigley Field, and 1 mile north of my friend's previous apartment.

The police did exactly what I predicted that they would do under this new and hyper-Liberal mayor.  They did nothing.

The cops should have been usng their batons on every one of these punks, and doing it with severe agressiveness.  Tear gas and rubber bullets should have also been used.  This is what happens when police treat the punks with kid gloves.  Two arrests.

My previous thread started it last year, and I freely admit that the punks don't like cold weather.  I knew that this would be happening again as the temperature warmed.  Believe me, those punks are in this area every weekend, just not at this scale.  Twerking, spilling drinks, ghetto blasters aimed directly at dinner tables...."disrupting", and "shut downs" as the punks call them.

PJ might take a drive down North Avenue between the lake and the Kennedy Expressway.  4 years ago, every strorefront was full, and now it's at about 50%.  If the cops used their batons, these place would be open.  My friend and many others wouldn't be moving.  The cops should be kicking ass with those batons.  What about the property values decreasing because of this nonsense.......PJ has no concerns for these people.  PJ is only concerned for the punks.
