The numbers cited are based upon the illegals that have been caught - there is no reliable way to calculate the % of illegals that have covid that are not caught. Here is an idea - let the Biden administration load up and send buses of said illegals to unknown cities around the US - that surely will help with stopping the virus and will surely lower the # of people getting infected in the furure. I believe that doing this is called "Leadership" by some who post here.
Republican Governors declare war on vaccinations
In response to Biden trying to end the pandemic, Republicans were very upset. Very, very upset. Here were some of their freedom-loving responses.

• Texas Gov. Greg Abbott: “Biden’s vaccine mandate is an assault on private businesses,” Abbott tweeted. “Texas is already working to halt this power grab.”
• Missouri Gov. Mike Parson tweeted: “The Biden Administration’s recent announcement seeking to dictate personal freedom and private business decisions is an insult to our American principles of individual liberty and free enterprise.”
• Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp: “I will pursue every legal option available to the state of Georgia to stop this blatantly unlawful overreach by the Biden administration,” Kemp tweeted.
• Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon tweeted: “I have asked the Attorney General to stand prepared to take all actions to oppose this administration’s unconstitutional overreach of executive power. It has no place in America. Not now, and not ever.”
• RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel: “Like many Americans, I am pro-vaccine and anti-mandate,” McDaniel said in a statement. “Many small businesses do not have the money or legal resources to fight Biden’s unconstitutional actions and authoritarian decrees, but when his decree goes into effect, the RNC will sue the administration to protect Americans and their liberties.”
• Indiana Rep. Jim Banks tweeted: “Unvaccinated Lives Matter!”

Of course. This was expected. The Republicans are both stupid and amoral. All they care about is maintaining power, even if it costs the lives of their constituents. Absolutely disgusting.
However, Biden is invoking OSHA regulations. Employers can't dance around those rules, for political or any other reasons. As far as federal workplaces are concerned, Biden's the boss--period.
I wonder if we'll see individual lawsuits against employers who refuse to enforce vaccine mandates, or even against individuals who prance into the workplace, unvaccinated. Ignoring safety regulations is simply illegal, and there's no difference between the asshole who won't get vaccinated and the one who drives the forklift too fast--or the one who won't wear a helmet.

Biden's mandates don't go far enough. If you're obese, you are far more likely to suffer serious consequences from Covid and spread it into the hospital setting before you die. You chances of a bad outcome and exended hospital stay are many times greater than if you were at your ideal weight. That holds true for those who are fully vaccinated and have a breakthrough infection (that their illness will be much more severe than if they were at their ideal weight).
We must protect society from these Covid superspreaders who are taking up hospital beds that can be used by people who had no control over their illness. We need weight loss mandates to protect society. Clearly the overweight must remain quaranteened until they either reach their ideal weight or the pandemic is over. The vaccinated obese will be allowed outdoors but not in an inside setting except at home or a qualified weight reduction re-education facility. These people obviously have no regard for their own health so why do we allow them to risk the health of others?
There. I just saved millions of lives.
Here is a mandate for you - vaccinate each and every illegal alien who crosses the southern border. And don't forget to vaccinate every Afghan refugee that enters the US - now that would be called "LEADERSHIP".

That's absurd. If that somehow became a real policy, we'd have to also track down and isolate smokers, people who don't have enough leafy greens in their diet, habitual drunks, and people who drive too fast.
