Beyond sleazy Trump’s DOJ is investigating his rape victim

If you have any illusions that the constitution still applies you are sadly mistaken. This is the most corrupt disgusting vile thing a sitting president has ever done. 🤮

The Department of Justice has launched a criminal investigation into E. Jean Carroll, the former Elle magazine columnist who accused President Donald Trump of sexual assault, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

The investigation is allegedly centered around whether Carroll committed perjury during her civil lawsuits against President Trump, after which she was awarded a $5 million judgment, the sources said.

We are living in a lawless dictatorship and if you believe there will be an election in 2026 or one that is fair you are in for a real surprise. 

Not at all surprising, since it's been evident for some time that the Fucking Turd regards the DOJ as having one sole function: to be used as a tool for "retribution" against his enemies (both real and perceived).

I wonder how the Turd intends to prove that he didn't rape Carroll. Does he have proof that he was impotent that day?

It is rather bizarre.  They are investigating her for perjury for her under oath testimony in her defamation case. The thing is both she and Trump testified in that case under oath and the jury concluded Trump lied as they adopted her version of events. 

I wonder just how legal it is for a President to order the DOJ to investigate the results of a civil case. Is that their function or purview?

That question in turn makes me ask: can Carroll sue Trump for malicious prosecution? We know that apparently, the Turd is completely immune from both civil and criminal prosecutions, thanks to his SCOTUS lapdogs, but maybe she could sue the US government.

She should make a huge deal of this, in fact.

And yet plenty of women still support him.  He was absolutely right, he could shoot someone on 5th AVE and not lose any votes.  So, explain why this isn't a cult.

Yeah, she just happened to forget who provided $7,000,000 in funding when asked under oath.  Weird, I guess you guys have money like that thrown at you too and you'd totally forget who gave it to you.

Yep, who would think Trump was capable of sexually assaulting a woman just because he said he liked to "grab 'em by the pussy" and was accused by 20+ other women of sexual assault.  Except for the unanimous jury members!!!  But, Mr. Montoya, don't let me disturb cult-like worship.

I never said I was without fault, which, by the way, seems irrelevant to the discussion; but, I can assure you I have not been accused of sexual assault by over twenty women, I did not say "grab 'em by the pussy," and I was not found guilty by a unanimous jury of sexual assault--oh, and I am not President of the United States.
