Beyond sleazy Trump’s DOJ is investigating his rape victim

You know, one of the most fun aspects of the Sink is the opportunity to identify and destroy the logical fallacies that our MAGAs use to defend their, um, "positions" (face down, legs wide open for Trump).

This Iggo "logic" is known as a "false dichotomy." He's saying, "Don't complain about Trump sexually assaulting twenty women; I'm sure you've gotten several parking tickets." In the spectrum of morality and decency, it isn't only black or white; there aren't only two ways one can be. The false dichotomy is to claim. like a fundamentalist Christian, that there are only saints and sinners, nothing in between.

So Trump deserves his own categorization. Thirty-four felonies, twenty rapes, billions of dollars stolen. I don't think we can equate him with that guy who shoplifted a pack of cigarettes.

This is one of the most common apologist defenses that I hear, mainly from the so-called Christian nationalists.  "Trump isn't perfect.  I'm not perfect.  You're not perfect.  Nobody is perfect, except for Jesus."  So if Mother Teresa stubbed her toe and said "shit," she's in the same category as Hitler.
