Biden Ahead By 14 Points Now

Rasmussen has Biden +8

What are the polls saying about the election in Indiana? It's been reliably red the last several years. Any realistic chance of it turning blue, at least as far as Trump/Biden is concerned?

Indiana went for Obama in 2008 and they've elected Dem Senators in the recent past....but Indiana is a bonafide red state.     The silver lining is Indiana is second only to Texas in low voter turnout.    When people get to the polls Indiana goes blue.   Lots of people going to the polls this year.

I can only speak anecdotally about what I see in my area.    I will say this confidentially, Biden is going to get a lot more votes than Hillary did in Indiana.

Well then, I'm sure there are active Republican efforts in Indiana to stop people from voting and/or to not count their votes. They might not be concentrating much effort in Indiana, though, since they have so many dumpster fires to put out in other states they once considered "safe."

How do you manage to live among Trumpers without constantly retching? (I'm not sure how I manage to do that.)

Indianapolis itself is very progressive.   Most bigger cities are.    For the most part you cant tell downtown Indy apart from downtown Pittsburgh or Columbus, Oh or Boston.     And you cant beat the cost of living,

A new Rasmussen update has Biden +12

What we are seeing now is folks abandoning Trump that otherwise would have voted for him because nobody wants to vote for a loser.

That's good to hear. There are a lot of Trumper states that are alt-right because they contain a single large city that is surrounded by miles and miles of rural yahoo communities. I've heard that one could actually live in Oklahoma City, for example, without losing one's mind.

I wonder if the social isolation and lack of intellectual stimulation that comes from talking to pigs and cows all day contributes to people developing incurable Trumpism. Also, it's easier to make Black people boogeymen when you almost never see or talk to any of them.

The few times I've visited Indiana, I've been pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the country along the Ohio, and appalled by the industrial blight around Gary. I only passed through Indianapolis. I've heard that it's actually a pretty cool place, and yeah, the cost of living is low.

Now Rasmussen had Biden +12

You should never look at just one poll, but they seems to be a consensus.

"I don't understand it. I don't believe 'em ... they have a boat thing, they have 5,000 boats, they have thousands of trucks all over the country. I don't believe the polls"

I think Trump is a victim of boater fraud.

What on earth was he babbling about? He's sounding more unraveled every day.

Pew has Biden up by ten, in line with every other national poll.
