That is incorrect. The bill when passed didn't include police funding. After realizing they were in trouble over crime & polic funding the democrats said the bill included police funding.

Well, actually the COVID relief bill sent billions of dollars to municipalities to fund police while their economies were suffering the economic damage from COVID.
Do your remember the ratio of Democrats to Republicans that voted for that funding? I do.
Oh yeah, the RepubliQ are totally in favor of law and order. That's why they stormed the Capitol.
So PJ and Kevin's argument is that 1/10,000th of a multi-trillion dollar proposal had police funding, and anyone who doesn't like the other 9999/10,000 of the bill hates the police.
Is that all you have?

All you have is a slogan that Joe Biden never supported. I actually have a vote on policy and the people who weighed in. Republicans voted "no" to funding the police. Thats the record vs your empty rhetoric.
But I have some respect for the (very few) Republicans who at least have the balls be accountable for their vote. Most of them (including both my Senators and Governor) voted against the bill and then went around the state taking credit for all the good things it did for their constituents. Oh - and they're doing the same thing with the infrastructure bill they voted against. I guess they're counting on their voters to be really uninformed. Good bet on their part.

Even Factcheck said this is wrong
A senior aide to President Joe Biden misleadingly claimed that congressional Republicans “defunded the police” when they voted against the American Rescue Plan Act. However, the section of the bill outlining the “Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds” did not stipulate that the relief funding had to be used on police officers or for other law enforcement initiatives.
This is how a March 18 Treasury Department fact sheet summarized the recovery fund: “The Rescue Plan will provide needed relief to state, local, and Tribal governments to enable them to continue to support the public health response and lay the foundation for a strong and equitable economic recovery.
Whatever Tommie-poo and Boilerboob choose to blather, the fact remains that "defund the police" was never adopted, and was in fact categorically rejected, by the Democratic party.
If our conservitards keep bleating that idiot meme, then then should accept that all Republicans believe that Black people shouldn't be allowed to vote (actually, that is a pretty mainstream view for them). Because as soon as someone on the fringe says something, well, then, he's speaking for the entire group!

Tell that "never adopted" bullshit to the people residing in New York, Minneapolis, Chicago and all of the other "Blue DemocRatic" states. You are nothing but a lying bastard.

Thats right - the COVID relief bill sent money to municipalities to cover shortfalls in their revenue to pay for things like first responders (aka firemen, ambulance drivers, and .... police) It was largely a blank check for cities to spend however they needed to keep the lights on in their local governments. Democrats voted "yes". Republicans voted "no".. And then Republicans went to all of those respective cities and patted themselves on the back for the money they voted against.
PS-your links dont work.
I'm 63 years old. For as long as I remember, we've been told that if we don't fix the infrastructure all of the bridges will fall down. Somehow we all navigate around the collapsing bridges.
The last big collapse that I can recall was the Minneapolis I-35 Mississippi bridge 15 years ago. It had nothing to do with aging, but instead the cause was a design flaw.
It's all hype to create a problem that doesn't exist.
