The last big collapse that I can recall was the Minneapolis I-35 Mississippi bridge 15 years ago. It had nothing to do with aging, but instead the cause was a design flaw.
It's all hype to create a problem that doesn't exist.
Well, "for as long as you remember" obviously includes pure fantasy, because no one ever said "all of the bridges will fall down." What "they" have said is that bridges have a useful life, and if they remain in service beyond that, there is an increasing risk of structural collapse. And I don't think "unlikely" is good enough, not when millions of people cross bridges every day.
Only a idiot would think that bridges never fall down. And aside from that, Biden's infrastructure plan includes a LOT more than just fixing bridges. Stuff wears out. That's obvious even to a child, but somehow, not Boiler.
