Biden, Harris and Pelosi

Not a fan of Biden or Harris.  Voted for Biden to get rid of Trump, who had exhibited pathological behavorial disorders  I remember 5 years ago, a friend explained it simply but very well,  The one thing that all presidents had in common, they are intelligent,  Trump is not. 

One quote from a well known sports fiqure said Trump does not have a good grasp of grammer, which is true, no one can deny that.  We've all known people who were successfull, highly intelligent, but do to lack of formal education, lacked good communication skills and good grammar.  Trump was privy to the best available education, yet he speaks like an uneducated person.  If someone has to tell people they are a stable genius and that they have a very high IQ, and they exhibit a lack of intelligence,  I personally think they are not very smart.  Trump is much worse than Harris on speaking intelligently.

I give Biden low marks on his energy policy, Afghanistan withdrawal, inflation  and he seems to be naive about Politics today,   What may save the democrats in the midterms and 2024 is how Biden handles Ukraine crisis.  He has a chance to salvage his presidency.  So far he has done as well as anybody, he's formed a strong unified front with NATO. Russia is reeling from strong economic sanctions.  Putin's days could be numbered if Biden plays this right.  Thank God, Trump is not president, he would have weakened NATO and gave Ukraine to Putin on a platter.

That is exactly why I didn't like Trump either.  I just think Joe is senile.  People can hammer me for that all they want but this is not a time for a senile guy to be in charge.  Now that said, I'd take him over the giggling clown lady behind him.  She's dangerously stupid.  If Kevin doesn't get offended by her stupidity than I don't know what to say.  Hard to hammer Trump for being stupid and then turn around and defend Harris.

Because she isn't stupid. Your perceiving her as stupid and her actually being stupid are two different things. She doesn't have much of a public persona. You're mistakenly equating that with a poor intellect, just as so many asshole pundits say that Biden's stuttering means he's senile. (And many folks who bandy that term about, Jerry included, it seems, don't even know what it actually means.)

Do I like Harris? Not particularly. But that doesn't mean she's stupid. She was California's attorney general and a US senator. You don't get that far unless you're pretty goddamn smart, and any assertion to the contrary is, well...stupid. As in, it's really, really fucking stupid to claim that any person, regardless of party affiliation or ideology, who gets that far is stupid. Harris has advanced her career to a much higher point than ANY of the stupid people calling her stupid.

Is Trump stupid? No, definitely not. He does have some mental disorders, such as pathological narcissism and being a borderline psychopath, but that doesn't mean he's intellectually deficient. He's deliberately chosen not to learn several skills that we would assume all smart people have, such as spelling and grammar, or how to manage the finances of a business. But he's perhaps the most successful con artist of all time. No one else has scammed his way to the most powerful position in the world and bilked people out of billions of dollars on his way there. And you gotta be smart to be a good con man. He's also an asshole of the highest order, of course, but that quality exists independently of intellect in the human psyche.

To reinforce what cjen said, Biden is handling the Ukraine crisis well and in a very real way, it's been a huge gift to the Democrats. Trump-licking Republicans who have been attacking Biden and/or supporting Putin have come across as petty, selfish, and divisive at a moment when the West is coalescing and there's a sense of unified moral purpose that hasn't existed since WWII. That's why Moscow Mitch has been telling the worst of his fellow RepubliQ goons to shut the fuck up. They're hurting the brand. I can see this as costing the RepubliQ as much as 3% in the midterms, which as we all know, would flip dozens of seats.

And please, let's all be rational and stop blaming Biden for gas prices, inflation, etc. He doesn't and can't control what PRIVATE COMPANIES charge for goods and services, and certainly not in the global marketplace. (BTW, I thought that conservatives were always about the holy capitalist free market. Now, all of a sudden, they want Biden to extend his iron fist and choke off the oil companies. LOL.)

And yes, Harris is definitely stupid.  Go listen to her explain this invasion if nothing else or do you just cover your ears and hum when she is saying that stuff?  In fact, we have the two dumbest vice presidents of all time sitting as POTUS and VP right now.  

And yes, Joe has early/mid stage dimentia.  You just don't want to admit it but we've been over this time and time again.  

So your argument is Harris is smart (not stupid) because of her career path?  But yet at same time you are smart and yours is a 3rd grade teacher still working today?  This isn't exactly a real good case study to support your reasoning.  

Biden & NATO didn't start to stand up to Russia until they saw the Ukrainians were holding on & the realization that if the Ukraine lost they were next. 

They were very slow to react on Russia's buildup prior to the invasion. Sanctions & increased arms shipments should have been sooner. Why won't he allow the Poles to send the Ukrainians the fighters?

Biden was so concerned that he waited 4 weeks to go over & he sent Giggles over instead. He was so concerned that he spent the last 2 weekends at home doing nothing.  Check the White House itinerary, zero meetings/calls. 

The White House has not released the transcript of his call with China on the war. The details are probably embarrassing. Saudi Arabia & the UAE won't even take his calls. 

If a doctor says that about Biden, I'll give it some credence. But YOU??? Naah!

Let me school you some more, Jerry. I'm a teacher because I love it. Realizing that it was the profession for me was the smartest thing I've ever done. And yes, Jerry, teachers are smarter than average. At the very least, you need a college degree. People who have college degrees are smarter than average. And most teachers, myself included, have advanced degrees. People who have advanced degrees are much smarter than average. If you want to somehow argue against that...or be a Millerscum and pitch a personal insult at me...go ahead, I guess. Knock yourself out.

You really need to stop making asinine, unfounded statements--especially those that you make for the sole purpose of being insulting. Doing that diminishes you.

And I think that selecting one sentence of cjen's post is definitely "cherry-picking"---but let's run with it. Biden's energy policies are strongly directed toward sustainable energy, which everyone agrees is the future of energy production. Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal was the best of several bad options, and I would really like to hear from the usual conservitard echo chamber what he could have done differently and why they think that would have worked out any better. And I've already pointed out why blaming Biden for inflation is fucking stupid.

As in, manifestly, egregiously, ignorantly stupid.
