Charles - do you remember that I told you/warned you about trying to have a sane, truthful conversation with Lewis as to what the result would be? Now you have experienced exactly what I said would happen. Your good intentions have gone for naught and all that has transpired is as you have described. Lewis is and will always be a lying, hateful scourge - he is truly mentally ill.

David loves to repeat himself. He thinks that it's manly.

 Some people need to hear things twice because they don't get the message the first time...

And some people bleat the same things over and over because they want to dominate the conversation. Also, they do that because they have no way of supporting their own argument besides squawking it over and over like a parrot. 

David...I remember well. Just consider me as a conservative fly at a proverbial glass door; I have no illusions about actually gaining any meaningful entry *l*. My only real intention is to relay my stances on an occasional issue here. I'll choose to refrain from insults and personal attacks levied against individuals and their free speech rights, however; otherwise I self-taint my own arguments and end up entering  an abysmal area of  this landscape, imo. That area is often devoid of any kind of progress/ solutions..and resembles an August cross-country bus ride through the desert with no AC. Communicate here as you choose to..it's your business. Have a few laughs, when at all possible.

Charles, you truly don't realize that David isn't here to communicate, but to start arguments?

I give you credit, assuming that you truly don't realize how evil and cruel your gang has become. But of course, you must dissociate yourself from that evil no matter what. Hence your styling of the current struggle as an equal contest between two equally valid points of view.

I concur that rational discussion is impossible when two sides have fundamentally different perceptions of what constitutes reality--and morality.
