You are out of your league on this one.  Yeah - suppose the MD prescribes insulin for the diabetic child.  So what?  What if the regimen is wrong.  What if there are other various types of insulin available?  I assume you do know all of them - right?  Sure - a diagnosis of diabetes is easily diagnosed.  How to approach the treatment is a whole other story.  Don't get into this childish nope nope nope nope crap with me.   Grow up.

Actually, since I'm diabetic--I know a LOT about insulin treatments. I also knew a friend who was diabetic and didn't follow his doctor's suggested regimen and slowly became disabled and eventually died as a result. Inflicting that on a child because of some bizarre personal belief would be one of the worst crimes anyone could commit. Obviously, diabetes treatment is complex, which is precisely the reason why parents shouldn't interfere with it. And that goes for ALL medical treatments. I mean, Jesus--DUHHHH!

Fox News is being "interjected" into this discussion because they were the most persistent and frequent peddlers of the CRT dog whistle that got Youngkin elected. And as far as "another opinion being plausible"--not in this case, as CRT isn't being "taught" anywhere in the US, except for being mentioned as one of many social theories.

You pretend that alternate versions of reality--famously called "alternative facts" by Kelly Bitch--are just as valid as reality itself and that believing in one or the other is simply a matter of opinion. That's horseshit; there is such a thing as objective reality. "Stop the steal" is not, repeat NOT, an opinion equal in validity to "the election was fair." "Climate change is a liberal hoax" is not equally valid to "climate change is an existential threat."

Treatment for diabetes has changed greatly over the last few decades.  I recall my Grandma using crappy porcine insulin and garbage monitors that required large volumes of blood to check her blood glucose.  It sucked.  Much better now.  Numerous options.  Happy to go into detail if you need assistance.
