Blocking

If Kevin quotes David, you'll still see it...uness you block Kevin too.

I won't be quoting Millerscum. I think the best way to deal with him is to ignore him. After all, he's lately gotten into the habit of making utterly ridiculous arguments...just for the sake of arguing (and screaming at everyone and calling them liars). So no one should respond to him...and everyone should block him.

Well, I can still read Millerscum's asinine thread titles, but you can't have everything.

Bummer - I still see all the threads.   Oh well.  Its still better than before

All we're missing is the element of mild surprise when David's Fakebook video turns out to be nothing resembling his idiot thread title. Or perhaps a "report" of some random asshole's conspiracy theory.

Block features are, IMHO, pretty useless.  Like trying to read a news report where paragraphs have been cut out intermittently.  But perhaps it will result in Kitchen Sink dying a natural death, since Kevin and Todd won't have David Miller to deride, assuming they block him.

You actually think that what David Miller posts is ''news''?

David Miller derides himself, with his idiotic propaganda and conspiracy theories, and more importantly, with his horrid reactions to anyone disagreeing with him.

And it's not like he's going away, no matter who blocks him. After all, 99% of his threads never receive any response (except a derisive one from me or Todd), but that hasn't stopped him from starting a dozen a day. He craves attention, and hasn't figured out that being nasty to everyone who gives him that attention results in...eventually being ignored.

I don't want the Sink to go away, because it's a repository for stuff that doesn't belong anywhere else. Until being scolded by Anthony, David was routinely taking his propaganda and personal attack shit into other forums. We have a place for David, just like we have dumpsters for garbage. That they smell a bit if you get too close is a small price to pay.

My hope is that the Sink - as well as the rest of the Forum categories- will one day be what it used to be, a place for civil, sane behavior and information - like it was 6+ years ago. I like the "block" feature and the fact that I can now have conversations with others without all of the moronic bickering and nastiness.

It was never that way and I have been here on and off since 2002.

Speaking for myself, I have been a subscriber since 1988 and I can attest that the Forums were much more "that way" prior to the last 6+ years.
