Britain does it right

What does Toxic Kevin think companies do with their profits?

You don't get any answers to one stupid question, never mind two.

Why would they drill if they're making obscene, record profits as it is? Of COURSE, Boiler, they want you to believe that they're not drilling because of that horrible, horrible Biden! And you eagerly lap it all up.

You're so naive. And you're a good little puppet for the noble fossil fuel industry.

Meanwhile, back to the topic: British fossil fuel companies can easily absorb this windfall tax because they have enjoyed for decades the most favorable tax treatment of any British industry. The difference between Britain and the US is that those British companies aren't continually whining about how their no-good gummint always gets in their way.

Oil industry executives tells us that they're not drilling because of Biden.

And you believe them. How funny.

Charles recently posted a very detailed post showing all the roadblocks the Biden gang have put up for the oil industry & the corresponding price increases.

And that post was bullshit. Much of it wasn't factual at all, much of it referred to regulations that had been imposed during previous administrations, and pretty much all of it decribed policies that had minimal impact on costs and prices.

Here's a little exercise for you, stupid Tommie-poo. Take ALL of the numbers in Charles' fantasy post--as if they were real--and add them up. Then compare the total to the complete aggregate revenue of the fossil fuel companies during the time period covered by Charles' rant. You'll find that the amount is less than one tenth of one percent.

In other words, if the price of gasoline is $5 a gallon, the amount of that that is the cost of regulatory compliance is...half a cent.

I know this isn't what you want to hear, and contradicts your stupid uneducated previous notions, but the only way you have even the tiniest chance to become a little bit smarter is to learn to think and analyze instead of opening your brain like a garbage can and letting conservative propaganda outlets dump their shit in.

Oh? Prove me wrong, asshole.

You can't. Chickenshit little weasel. Calls everyone a liar, while constantly lying himself, and always weaseling away from proving any of his lies or accusations.

Impotent little Davey Dog. Bark some more!

And the great businessman Kevin doesn't believe that oil executives aren't drilling due to Biden.  They just suddenly stopped drilling after Trump lost the election for no apparent reason.

It's magic.

You'll believe what you want to believe, unconstrained by facts. You're a good little puppet for the fossil fuel companies--and they don't even pay you!
