More likely those responsible for maintaining the President's safety are responding to identified threats from miscreants seeking to do the President harm.

The Secret Service needs to interview Kevin Lewis. His ongoing fantasizing about presidential assasination along with his clear mental disorders aren't a good combination. He's probably harmless, but you never know what's going to push him over the edge. I'm going to send a link to this post and others he's made and let them determine if he's a threat.
