California is dying

The most important thing to note is that over the past decade 6.1 million Americans left California, while 4.9 Americans moved to California.  This trend is accelerating, as the data shows.  The number of "Makers" has been decreasing and the the number of "Takers" is increasing.

When government penalizes success and rewards failure, this is what happens.

Yeah, I can see how a loser who has to live in the snow much of the year would feel that way.

But California's growth has always depended on immigrants attracted by their leading technology and their top-notch private and public universities - as in NOT Perdue U - to take root and contribute. That's how California got immigrant-founded Google, Tesla, Paypal, eBay, Uber, and so on.

But immigrants were both limited and repelled by the last guy, weren't they? And there you go.

Had Mister only read the article, he would have learned that the past decade is the only decade in California history where more Americans moved away than moved in..................by a staggering 1.2 million mind you.  The place is dying.

The "takers" are moving in to buy up those 3 million dollar homes in the Bay Area.    Wow !  They're taking aot !

Boiler is lying. California experienced a population increase of 2.4 million during the last decade. His numbers are bullshit.

It's amazing the extent to which RepubliQs are willing to lie to pitch their sick ideology.

That's a complete lie---the population of California increased by 2.4 million during the past decade.

California pays far more to the federal government in taxes than it receives in government benefits. I'd call people who remain in California the "givers," and people like Boiler who cower in their icy-cold RepubliQ shithole states the "takers."

But of course, the Boiler bunch will continue to whine about them snowflake LIBURRULS even as they roll around delightedly in all the free shit that the hardworking, productive people of California send them.

The most significant demographic shift is that all the smart people are moving to California and all the dumb people are moving to Boiler Land. That may eventually result in a decrease in California's population, since dumb people may outnumber smart people. We know that there's an abundant supply of dumb people, since so many voted for Trump--twice!

Boiler stupidly misread the article, which is not surprising, considering his painfully limited literacy skills. The only plausible explanation is that a) Boiler's simply an ideologically clouded moron, or b) he thinks that immigrants aren't people. Come to think of it, b) fits in pretty well with the RepubliQ ideology he's been spouting for years. An evil, old, deteriorating white boy.

This is so typical of Kevin.  The Associated Press states California's published data, and Kevin calls me a liar for letting people know the truth.  The article tells us that 1.2 million more Americans left the state than moved to the state.  It also tells us that even with the influx of legal immigrants, illegal immigrants, and births, the state population still shrunk by 182,000 people.  The moving of wealth out of the state and an influx of folks who consume lots of social services is unsustainable.  The Liberal solution is to raise taxes, which chases more wealth from the state, and the death spiral continues.

I was in San Diego and LA, last week and I had a great time.  It should be noted, however, that both couples that hosted me are considering moves out of state.  One of my friends retired recently (Boeing engineer), and my other buddy retires in July (Parker Hannifin engineer).  In an effort to be fully transparant, we also visited with another couple who I've also known since school, and these self proclaimed hyper Liberals have no plan to leave California.
