California still won’t open voter rolls to auditors - What say you, Edslow?

In lieu of the curent election voting counting, it begs the question "What are they hiding"? This is just more proof the California DemocRATs will cheat to win. -  California officials are still fighting to keep federal auditors out of the state’s voter rolls, even as the state’s drawn-out vote count hands Republicans fresh reasons to question what is happening behind the curtain.  --- The fight has taken on new urgency after Republican Spencer Pratt slipped behind progressive Los Angeles City Councilwoman Nithya Raman in the mayoral race and Republican Steve Hilton lost the top spot in the governor’s primary to Democrat Xavier Becerra, fueling President Trump’s claim that California’s election system is “crooked.” --- U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli is now asking the obvious question. “What are they afraid of?” Essayli, the U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, said Sunday that the Justice Department has spent more than a year trying to audit California’s voter rolls, only to be blocked by state officials claiming state privacy laws prevent the review. ---   https://mxmnews.com/article/cb3e76a1-c93c-4960-9160-a385cfa6dbc1?california-still-won-t-open-voter-rolls-to-auditors

California has no legal obligation to open the voting rolls to the Federal Government. It would be like a state official from California showing up at David Miller's house in Texas and demanding access to all his Financial records because they want to audit his Federal Tax returns.

The federal government does not have the legal authority to audit, supervise, or dictate the methods of state elections. That's stated in the Constitution and multiple court decisions since. But we know that neither Miller nor Mxm "News" believe in the Constitution.

Bullshit -" Legal obligation" - or not,  the corrupt California DemocRATs are hiding their voting records because they are cheating, otherwise they would open the books. Your comparison is asinine and has nothing to do with California's refusal to prove that their voting preceedures are not illegal/corrupt.

Bravo - absolutely the most intelligent comment you have ever posted. Not that you said anything intelligent - a given - but it was a nice try......

For an election with federal candidates the feds have the right to review the voter rolls?

Nope! The process of determining whether a voter is eligible is the purview of the states. That's true whether the candidate(s) are running for local, state, or federal office.

Nope. They're not "hiding" anything; they're refusing to be bullied. The states determine how their elections are run. The Turd has no business interfering with that.

And since this is a matter of what's lawful and what isn't--isn't that what you're screaming about?--the "legal obligation" is the central issue, even if you try to dismiss it by putting it in "quotation marks."

Sorry. The Constitution is very clear and unequivocal on this matter. It's settled law. You may as well stop screaming.
