first of all, Massachusetts doesn't have an education problem to begin with.    And neither does New York.    Both are ranked in the top states of educating their students...and their schools both public and private pay teachers a wage that actually encourages people to join that field.     And your article states it only made a difference in some urban areas.    That's great.     On the whole, they are the same as public schools.

shithole red states that pay teachers the same as a WalMart cashier have shitty students in both public and charter schools.    That's a fact as my data (not pigeon holed anecdotes) spelled out.   

you are free to like charter schools  if you wish...but the data shows teaching bible class in private schools doesn't yield better test scores in math, science, or anything else

The conservitards on this site who sneer at the teaching profession come from states where teachers are paid so little, the teachers that remain are often not very good--though many remain anyway, out of love for the profession.
