Coup, Coup, Coup

The Medows records show that the January 6, 2021 attack on the capital was an attempted coup.

It went something like this. 

1.  The National Guard wasn't just told to stand down they were told to protect the insurrectionists, not the capital, not members of Congress and not the Vice President.

2. The Trump Storm Troopers would seize the Capital and or disrupt the counting of votes.

3.  Trump would use this as a pretext to declare a national emergency.  

4.  At some point thereafter Trump would address the nation and without any evidence claim that Foreign Actors had compromised the electronic voting machines and declare all electronic votes invalid. 

5. Co-Conspireing Republican members of Congress would offer an alternative slate of electors. 

6.  Trump would unlawfully retain the Presidency. 

Put all of these folks on trial for treason. If found guilty give them the death penalty. Amazing we still have people right here in the forum that will vote for treasonous Trump again.

David Miller is busy losing his ass in Vegas right now--otherwise, he'd be screaming at you and calling you a liar. He does that so often and automatically, I wonder if he calls his cat a liar several times a day.

I've also found it amazing that anyone continues to LUVVVV Trump, but on further reflection, I think it's easy to understand. Most Trumpers have, or at least once had, some kind of moral center; scruples; ethics. They know that their continued support for Trump shames them. So why do they persist? It's because dropping Trump would constitute an admission that for the last few years, they've been supporting an evil, narcissistic con man. So it's less emotionally painful to double (or triple) down on the Trump lie. It's hard to admit to yourself that you've been doing something morally reprehensible.

And of course, coupled with repeating the lie is a strategy of attacking those who point out that lie. David Miller calls people liars in the feeble hope that they will be forced on the defensive and thus, ignore his support for the Orange Pusbag. I'm sure many of us will be seeing this sort of thing over Christmas, when Uncle Fred the MAGA Moron visits and ruins the family dinner by telling everyone over and over how Trump won the election.

The sad thing is the places where David gets his information from see him as a useful idiot that will spread their propaganda. They tell him a lie when they know the truth just to keep him inflamed because that's how they make money. Privately they laugh about how gullible guys like David are.

And look at the weasel words they use: "some reports" that (blah blah) "may have been" and so forth. Would you rush outside if you heard "some reports" that there "may have been" pigs flying overhead?

Isn't it pathetic that in order to make a feeble attempt at countering the charge that they have mutated from a legitimate political party into a traitorous, conspiracy theory-loving gang of evil nutballs, the RepubliQ keep bleating "Antifa Antifa Antifa!!!!!!!!," as if Antifa was a vast worldwide terrorist organization?

The RepubliQ and those who work their passage by deluding the Stalkers and Tommie-poos of this world are less than human.

When all is said and done with this witch hunt, it will be proven to just be another lying Democratic attack on President Trump -just like the lying media driven "Russian collusion" fiasco. You mouthy losers who are, once again, frothing at the mouth will be nowhere to be found when all the facts are known. 

I've been reading a very interesting book that highlights, among other concepts, why people such as David Miller continue to hold on to beliefs long after they've been proved to be absurd--in fact, especially after they've been so proved. This, of course, includes irrational and frankly, ridiculous Trump-love.

It boils down to: no one likes to admit they were wrong--to such an extent, in fact, that continuing to make an absurd claim (such as: "Bigly Dear Leader won the election") is far more attractive than acknowledging that you were wrong. The continued shame of false belief is much less painful than the pain of honest introspection.

This is why con men are so successful, even in situations where you might think, "Well, nobody would fall for that." This is why, even after Trump botched the pandemic response and behaved like a petulant toddler during the debates, 75 million people still voted for him. If you listen to a con man, you become invested in him. The 75 million decided to double down on Trump rather than admit to themselves that they'd been played.

Of course, they still feel shame. And they react to that shame in different ways. For David, that consists of lashing out at anyone who points out his shame--calling them every name he can think of, and of course screaming LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR at anyone who dares to disagree with him. What he doesn't seem to fathom is that responding "you too you too you too" is not a valid defense to an accusation.

I truly believe that he doesn't even fully realize how stupid this makes him seem. I say this in part because I know he's not stupid--he believes in a LOT of stupid, evil shit, but he's been conned, played, sold snake oil, manipulated; he dances on puppet strings. At this point, he has no more free will than a robot does.

So he deserves our pity. As do the millions of formerly decent, rational people who have been turned into Trumpers by the greatest and most successful con man of the century (so far, anyway!).

(He will be totally unable to resist responding to this post by insulting me and calling me a liar, even though his doing so will just prove my point.)

So you don't even believe their phone records and official records from the White House like the coup PowerPoint?  If you believe they are fake does that mean Medows is in on it and it and how was he able to bring the phone companies in on this grand conspiracy to get Trump? 

Now that they have Gym Jordan's phones records was he in on it too because those text messages reflect poorly on Trump?  

Do tell us which of these Trump guys were in on it. 

The best part are all the pleas from FOX news pundits who had a direct line to the White House begging Trump to stop the riot.....and then they turned around and did segments on their respective shows telling their audience the protestors were really Antifa.   

FOX News prime time knew the truth ...but they told a different tale to their audience of David Millers.  Sean Hannity's emails prove he lied to you, Davey....because making you angry is good for his ratings.   And you oblige him Every night.

It has already been proven that shiftless has doctored the texts & the sgt at arms for both houses declined the request from the Capitol Police for the National Guard.

The FBI has already investigated & found no conspiracy.  The democrats have been at it for months and found nothing so far

By "nothing" you mean they uncovered all the documentation Trump and his cronies  were circulating about how to ursurp the election results by illegally using executive branch powers to do so?...and to pressure states to remove their electorates with ones picked by Trump?

Yeah, a whole lot of nothing.   So much so that 3 people have now pleaded the 5th ....which is to say they refuse to testify to Congress  because doing so would inciminate themselves.

These include:

John Eastman, the attorney who helped lead a campaign pressuring Mike Pence to block Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s victory

Jeffrey Clark, the Justice Department lawyer whom Trump considered installing as acting attorney general to support his effort to subvert the election;

Roger Stone, a longtime Trump confidant.
