A Crushing Blow to Disney

What David, the bigot, calls being "woke" is Disney's refusal to endorse a stupid anti-gay law. Disney is now being punished for its refusal to adhere to Florida Man ideology.

But here's what's really rich! Disney's special tax status--which De Santis has revoked--means that in the two counties Disney World and associated properties straddles, property taxes will go up by 20%. Also, $977 million in municipal debt obligations would be transferred from Disney (in its incarnation of Reedy Creek, a holding company) to those two counties.

The net effect of De Santis's little political theater stunt will be to cost each and every resident of Orange and Osceola counties several thousand dollars every year. And that economic impact would be dwarfed if Disney decided to pack up and move to a less bigoted state where the governor doesn't fuck over his own constituents to score political points for his big 2024 election campaign (so, moving to Texas would be no improvement).

The mouse has been around a hell of a lot longer than that idiot Ron Deathsentence.

My money is on the mouse over the rat.

For those who wish to hear/view the truth of what is happening, watch this interview with DeSantis.--- https://fb.watch/cBfDnFhBVf/

Yeah, like De Santis is ever going to tell the truth about his little war with Disney. Of COURSE he's going to distort the facts and minimize the damage his anti-Mouse initiative will cause. After all, what's he going to say--"Yeah, this will cost Floridians over a billion dollars, but it's all worth it because it might help me win in 2024"?

And y'know, De Santis may very well have calculated correctly regarding the damage his little stunt may do to his political image. There's been a recent history of the worst Republican leaders doing things that ruin their constituents' lives, but with very few consequences. Plus, the two counties De Santis is fucking over have been turning blue, so maybe ruining their economy is De Santis's way of punishing them for their lack of loyalty to the Orange Pusbag.

This describes to a "T" what Lewis says here ---A liar begins with making a falsehood appear like truth, and ends with making truth itself appear like a falsehood.

David, anyone can call someone else a liar. But it's pretty cowardly to call someone else a liar without saying why they're supposedly lying.

You're weak, David.

All one needs to do to answer your redundant question is read what you posted. Calling me "weak" does not change what I posted.
