A property pays $100 in taxes & then gets improved so that the taxes are now $500. In order to get the property improved the govt. gives them a tax break of $250, but the property is stll paying an additional $150 in taxes. That was the Amazon deal.
The disney project had been in limbo for over 2 years. Disney is cutting in billions in costs. The DeSantis fight is a convenient excuse. Is Disney going to blame DeSantis for closing their $1b hotel.
