Gee, it's a shame that the President didn't call you P.J. and have you run the show. If he and the rest of America had of only known that you were all seeing and all knowing, I am sure that everything that has not gone the way you, with your gift of hindsight, would have done it that everything would be so much better. He and they are dealing with an issue so unique that the whole world is having a difficult time trying to find a solution. I havn't heard you bad mouth any of the other leaders of other nations. I havn't heard you bad mouth DeBlasio, Cuomo and the rest of the idiots in New York who, just a few days ago, told New Yorkers to continue to meet, ride the subways and carry on without concern. How has that worked out? Face it, you are no different than Kevin. No matter how the President would and have handled things you would still be doing what you are doing now.

Any responsible leader would have addressed the crisis as soon as the danger became apparent. Trump wasted six weeks, which could have been used to make test kits, PPE, and ventilators. Instead, he fell back on his tired old strategy of racism, xenophobia, and travel bans.

Then, when the danger became obvious, he wasted two more weeks lying, fantasizing, downplaying the danger, and insulting people.

So what would I have done? Everything that's being done now, and more--but in January. We were warned. Trump ignored those warnings.

And why? He wanted to avoid hurting his reelection prospects. The deaths of a hundred thousand people are strictly a secondary consideration.
