DSA Platform

More people have been killed by illegal immigrants than people who have been killed by ICE.

Last  week a state trooper was murdered by an illegal driving a truck and another illegal truck driver  killed another the other day.

But in the usual suspects eyes these murders are ok

Well there's 12 million illegal aliens in the country and 22 thousand ICE officers.    But I guess Tom doesnt see how that might skew his rationaly calculated  statistics.

You can use the same math and say there are alot more traffic homicides committed by US citizens than illegal aliens using the same population skew.     And thats presuming you conflate  "traffic deaths" with "murders" like Tom does.

But even those obvious observations are irrelevant.    Tom plays his usualy game where he holds law enforcement officers to the same standard as felons.     He does it whenever a police officer shoots an unarmed black man too......"more gangbangers in Chicago kill people than cops"   so then its ok for cops to murder people.      Yawn.

Dividends aren't taxes.

I said dividends are paid with after tax income.  You would think cpa kevin would have understood that statement.

Whether we feel they are a threat or not, Iran is a sovereign nation

Mullah kevin is in favor of Iran attacking the US.

After that five years, we continue to tax them at the same rate we used to before the Big Pig Bill. We could also restore the corporate tax rate that the orange pig slashed in half

We spend almost $6T per year on medical care.  All the income of all the billionaires doesn't come close to that.

The S&P 500 net income is only $2.1T; nowhere near the nearly $6T annual medical costs.  And if the govt was to confiscate 100% of this income then there would not be any more to reinvest it back in the business to develop new products hire people etc.

Ten S&P 500 companies, including Alphabet (GOOGL), Apple (AAPL) and Microsoft (MSFT), made more than $23 billion in adjusted net income in 2025, says an Investor's Business Daily analysis of data from S&P Global Market Intelligence and MarketSurge. That makes them — by far — the most profitable firms in the inde of the $2.1 trillion in S&P 500 profit

The difference is that if these people were not in the country illegally these 2 people would be alive today.

more gangbangers in Chicago kill people than cops"

A true statement by pj.

so then its ok for cops to murder people.

But once again pj thinks police are driving around looking to kill people,  Here are the facts.

According to a Bowling Green State University study, since 2005 there have been 204 nonfederal sworn law enforcement officers charged with murder or manslaughter resulting from an on-duty shooting capitalbnews.org capitalbnews.org . Of these: Only 7 have been convicted of murder (sentences ranging from 81 months to life in prison

Or about one every 3 years.

I didn't even know what it was.....had to look it up.  Not something I am interested in.

I can find things in both MAGA and DSA that I applaud....and many things I abhore.

With DHS - I fully support Medicare for all and will have that debate with anyone anytime anywhere as to why that is superior to the status quo train wreck of our healthcare system.     But then they want to defund ICE and stop energy producton and have taken a really aggressive stance against technology.

I support MAGA in the effort to secure the border and cut waste.  I dont support rounding up illegal aliens with no criminal record and have done nothing but raise a family and work peacefully in our country....and cutting waste doesnt mean getting rid of regulators and wrecklessly firing people without understanding what they do.

You have a few things wrong. They don't want to stop energy production. They want energy production from sources other than fossil fuels. The MAGA propaganda is that the opposition to fossil fuels is an opposition to energy production, which is nonsense. Don't propagate that.

Likewise, they aren't against technology; they're against its misuse and misapplication. Big, big, difference.

As you say in your last paragraph, MAGA has no genuine interest in securing the border, because their efforts are focused on rounding up those who are already here. And if MAGA cared about waste, they wouldn't support the Turd's war, tariffs, or grift.

Since you completely misstated and misinterpreted it, using your silly Tom-logic, do you mean their actual platform or the funhouse mirror version you presented?

Edso - you may want to learn about it.  They are making the most noise in the Democrat party and currently have 25 candidates for Congress (most will win since they are in very safe democrat districts).  They have or will have the mayors of NYC, Seattle, DC and LA.

Since you completely misstated and misinterpreted it

kevin you keep saying that but that comes directly from their platform.  What is wrong?

Parts of sentences rather than full sentences, sentences taken out of context, 95% of their platform left out altogether, and worst of all, your Tom-logic commentary.

If you were truly interested in how people felt about the DSA platform, you would have presented it honestly, in its entirety (or posted a link) and refrained from inserting your Tom-comments. But you could not care less what others think. You just want someone to express agreement with one or more of their positions so you can scream COMMIE COMMIE COMMIE and/or SOOOOOOOCIALISM and then tell us it was as all Biden's fault.

Raman is not a shoe in to be the LA mayor, Tom.  And I'd be more concerned if it was Riverside, since I don't live in LA.

Right now you are making much ado about nothing.
