Jen Psaki explains to dufous FOX News reporter how pipeline isnt supply

THANK YOU !

And then Psaki shifted into schoolteacher mode. “If we are trying to bring about more supply, that does not address the problem,” she explained. “We are already getting that oil, Peter. The pipeline is the delivery mechanism, it is not an oilfield. So it does not provide more supply into the system.”

We would be using much more Canada crude, and much less Russia crude if the pipeline had be completed.  An argument against this truth is coming from the ill informed.

No, I'm arguing that regulators won't let drilling happen.  They've been instructed to find problems, and more problems, and to keep finding problems, no matter how inconsequetial.  They been instructed to obstruct.

Given the current energy climate, I'm confident that will be told to stand down and to once again be reasonable.

I do need to correct a comment I made several days back.  Most Saudi crude is sour, and that's what the US is short on............especially now that we cut off sour Russian crude.

I applaud Biden chopping of this Russian supply.

Why doesn't Biden ask oil producer's in the states to pump more oil? Seems he would rather ask our enemies produce more. Doesn't want to make far left angry.

Who really should give a fuck what the "far left" thinks? Their ideology is what is ruining America.

Nonsense. We can get and have been getting all the crude we wish to purchase from Canada with or without a pipeline.

Your "would be" is stupid. Where American fossil fuel companies choose to purchase crude depends on costs, not supply. You can speculate all you want about a hypothetical situation, but the fossil fuel companies would still purchase Russian crude if it was cheaper, even if there were ten pipelines from Canada.

I'm stating the obvious, and I'm amazed that you, O Fossil Fuel Expert, don't understand it.

Well, your argument is nonsense. Unless you have some actual evidence of that, of course--which you don't.

Just to be clear--regulation is not the same as "not letting drilling happen." But I'll mention again--the Biden administration has already issued more drilling permits than the Trump administration did.

You keep ignoring that simple fact, because it blows up everything you've been saying. Don't be an intellectual coward.

Give me one cited example of a regulator preventing more capacity from existing properties.   One example.

Sorry - you seem to have America confused with Russia where the sitting leader of the executive branch  government determines how much oil gets drilled.     But whatever helps you rationalize your anger.

PS - I hear millions of illegal immigrants voted in the last election.  Thats bullshit too - but maybe thats something else you can leach onto.

PJ I said ask not make.

Kevin, that is not the truth.
