Maybe, but why no attempt to confirm. Why ten people coming forward and saying that their attempted investigations were squashed. Not any no attempt to find the truth, but obstruction of finding the truth. Does someone do this when the truth is wonderful?

Yes. I watched the entire hearing via DVR. Those witnesses seemed entirely credible to me. We can speculate all day long as to why the agencies drug their feet..stonewalled..slow-walked..sabotaged..whatever. The most plausible reason is what we suspect, I'm sure.

But Mr. Occam would say that the most likely event was that Barr dropped the investigation because of lack of evidence.

Dammit, Kevin..why / how can you continue to say that HB's laptop is STILL imaginary..in the face of now much publicized evidence to the contrary? Wasn't some of the info derived from said laptop behind part of his recent plea deal acceptance? These arguments really are ridiculous when no acceptance of facts are even considered. I'm not beating up on HB..he needs some help. Yet, facts are facts and they won't disappear due to your / mine / or Howdy Doody's likes or dislikes. HB's deal may be over ( the punishment) and yes the conservatives are surely attempting to tie the old man in / up, though they haven't up to this point. That political pendulum I suggested to you some time back is swinging back and forth as always.
It's my contention / speculation that Barr was pissed at Trump..and that he just didn't act to push this investigation further. I could certainly be errant in that stance. Time might tell.
