Feds say a handful of ballots were discarded in key Pennsylvania county

U.S. Attorney David Freed from the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced Thursday that a federal investigation found that nine military general election ballots were discarded in Luzerne County. Seven were marked for President Trump, and the other two are unknown, said Freed, a Republican. 

In the initial release, the Justice Department said that all nine ballots had been cast for Mr. Trump and then issued a correction hours later stating that two of the ballots had been resealed and their contents were unknown. The Justice Department released a summary letter sent to the Luzerne County Board of Elections later in the day that said, "The majority of the recovered materials were found in an outside dumpster." The letter also said the investigation additionally found four empty mail-in ballot envelopes.

It would seem curious that most, . . . if not all the accidently discarded ballots [as reported elsewhere], . . . were for President Trump, but the informed reader might realize the probability the discards would be for Trump is high, because they were Uniformed Military ballots sent from overseas.  Whoever tossed the ballots into the dumpster knew that.

For the record poor old DonDiego looks forward to voting in person every 4 years at his designated polling place.

Seven of the nine ballots were open when found.  All seven voted Trump.  The other two ballots remain unopened, but we all know those two were votes for Trump.

It's extremely unlikely that this was a vast deep state conspiracy, given the small numer of ballots involved and the fact that other related trash, such as empty envelopes, was also found in the dumpster. It was almost certainly just a careless mistake.

But hey, Trumptards can seize on it as ABSULOOT PROOF HYUK HYUK that the Democrats are trying to steal the election!!! It's a pretty feeble and flaccid attempt to validate Trump's lying crap about mail-in ballots, but it's all that Trumptards have.

Here it is -- "It was almost certainly just a careless mistake" --  If mass mail-in voting is allowed, you can be certain that this "mistake" will take place thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of times during the upcoming November 3 election.
