I am so sad, Kevin doesn't want to talk to me anymore.
Is it because I keep catching him in lies? He accused me of lying in my above post, but since he can't prove it he is the liar.
His keeps posting during the school day. Is that another lie?

It needs to be pointed out that historically Military Absentee Ballots have not been counted unless the total number of ballots that were received would be enough to change the outcome of the election if they were all for the candidate that lost. ie. A canditate lost by 2000 and there were only 1999 Military Absentee Ballots.

That certainly wouldn't be the case this time.
It is interesting, though, that the Republicans introduced a bill last Februrary to make military absentee voting easier and the ballots to be handled as express mail---while at the same time, they have been trying to stop or slow down all other types of absentee voting, per their slavish loyalty to Trump. The difference, of course, is that they expect the military to vote Republican, while they expect absentee/mailed ballots to be mostly from Democratic voters.
Make it easier for Republicans to vote. Suppress the Democratic vote. That's the Republican way!
NY is reporting that people are receiving incorrect ballots. Some of the problems, wrong names on the ballots, no security envelope, ballots marked military use only, to name a few.

If that happens, do they count those which were previously thrown away by a crooked Lyin' Liberal?

So what? They wouldn't be able to use those ballots to vote.

Conservatives NEVER lie and are NEVER crooked.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Tom correctly explained the problem with rejected ballots in short story. Here is the long version, mine.
For simplicity I will use the word "absentee" even though it is also called "mail-in", "paper ballot" or other names. Every voter is allowed to use it this year because of Covid, no need to say that one is out of the country or sick in bed or whatever.
I am American born, English is my first language, I have a college degree. I say this not to brag, but to point out the difficulties some may have in completing their absentee ballot causing it to be rejected.
A ballot is rejected for any one or more errors made by the voter. It is returned to the originator with instructions for correcting the errors and then can be sent again.
For starters, I got a card in the mail. It contained a web site to get a mail-in ballot. Great. I Googled the site, got a long list of links for learning about the absentee ballot process, all with more links to finally get to actually ordering a ballot. For simplicity's sake I'll just say after an hour and a headache I finally gave up and went back to my plan to do early voting (no lines) in person some time within two weeks before election day.
One turn-off was the online application to have a ballot mailed to me. It required too much information including some I normally would not use online for anything. Including a copy of your drivers license. That's just me, do it if you want to. I had the option of printing it out and taking it to a local office (I forget the name so I'll just call it county office). One link said "find your county office." Great, but that was also a cumbersome exercise to locate my particular office on the web site.
Then there is the "privacy envelope", an additional step that if not done invalidates the ballot. But again, it would be returned to the voter to make it right.
A friend took hers and her husband's ballots to her county office. Even though each had the copy of their DL with their ballots, they had to show both DLs to the person taking them. Of course she didn't have her husband's DL with her, so she couldn't submit his, he had to present it in person himself.
OK, none of this is brain surgery, but I will guess that the "rejected ballots" being screamed about on TV news, especially that (supposedly) more are from minorities, are due to the simple errors that can be easily made by anyone including the educated and experienced. And fixed, and resubmitted.

Tom, did you ever find the details of the 80 trillion dollar Green New deal you told us Democrats sponcered?
Let us know when you find them - and then we can resume our discussion about posters who lie on this board.

Candy, Tom was actually whining about "incorrect ballots" being sent to voters. A REJECTED ballot is something different altogether. An "incorrect ballot" is a trivial and harmless mistake--it can't be used for voting, being, y'know, incorrect.
A rejected ballot is no big deal if the voter has enough time to fix whatever caused it to be rejected. If not, it results in disenfranchisement. As you found out, some of the causes for rejection are trivial, even specious. Republicans have turned ballot rejection into an art form. Here's the scam. Republicans reject ballots for any stated or unstated reason. By the time they get sent back to the voter, the election has already taken place. BOOM! Vote eliminated. Lather, rinse, repeat, like the Republicans did fifty thousand times in North Carolina in 2016.
In your state, the process may have been tedious and cumbersome precisely for that reason--it suppresses votes. I'd be willing to bet that you live in a red state. In those states, obstacles to voting are constantly thrown up, for no justifiable reason. Blue states rarely require voters to have driver's licenses, for example--and why should you have to have one to vote?
The evil Republican master voter suppression plan is working very well--no one can say that Moscow Mitch et al. aren't clever--because when ballots are rejected, they very often aren't resubmitted in time for them to be counted. I'm not aware of any national database tracking that, but I'd be willing to bet that less than 25% of rejected ballots wind up being resubmitted properly and counted.
Tom and his ilk parrot Trump with his complaints about supposed massive fraud. But as you and your friends found out, it's often very hard to ram a correct and accurate absentee ballot through the system, never mind an incorrect or fraudulent one. Any faux concerns expressed by Trump or any of his stooges should be ignored.
