I never said that President Trump "is" President -- the brain dead traitor Biden is the one residing in the White House ( when he is not on vacation and/or lounging at his home in Delaware). I see that you have started to post lies like Lewis.

In related news (WSJ):

Exxon Vaults to Record Annual Profit of $55.7 Billion

I'm sure it's just a coincidence!

You've said literally hundreds of times that Trump won the 2020 election and is therefore "rightful" President.

Or are you finally repudiating your lie?

Boilerboob says that Biden's eeeeeeevil policies are "castrating" the poor, poor, poor, poor, poor oil industry. Gosh darn, they just cain't HEP but charge them hah prices!

I'm amazed that there are so many fools like Boilerboob out there to cheer the fossil fuel industry as it sucks us dry.

Stupid Tommie-poo, my point remains--Boiler thinks that withdrawals from the SPR are the cause of gas price reductions, when their effect was actually minimal.

However, I was in error in not including US petroleum EXPORTS. You go ahead and do your Tucker Carlson "research" and factor that in.

All that aside, dum-dums, what's so harmful about withdrawals from the SPR? It's not like we don't have plenty of oil sitting in the ground. Otherwise, we wouldn't be exporting it!

DUHHHH, stupid Tommie-poo!

Kevin has never sold commodities, yet I have.  I would guess that Biden's removal of our oil reserves lowered gasoline prices by 10%.

The world has no chance of moving away from oil anytime soon, and Liberals are fighting against the alternative.......battery production.

Kevin, please explain your confusion of large numbers.

Au contraire, Davee-Boi, you admitted that MANY times. Idiot.

Next.

You've never taken a class in logic. One of the first things you learn is: A happens, then B happens. That does NOT mean that A caused B. So your "guess" is illogical. Adding one percent to domestic oil production wouldn't have caused gas prices to drop by more than a fraction of one percent.

Why is that? Because the price of gas is determined by many more factors than the price of crude oil. Those other factors wouldn't have been changed by the release of oil from the reserve.

You claim to understand this stuff, but your ignorance is kind of breathtaking.

I realize that you're old, and you're a conservative. Therefore, your mind is fuzzy regarding change, and you hate it. You talk as if the transition away from fossil fuels can, or is supposed to, happen overnight. Then you argue that if we can't accomplish it tomorrow, we shouldn't do it at all. This is the kind of head-in-the-sand thinking that has gotten us in such deep trouble.

There is no liberal (not "Liberal") stance against battery production. That's only in your head.

My comprehension of large numbers is just fine. It's you that seems confused. A 1% increase in the supply of a raw material (which is only about 40% of the cost of manufacture/refinement) results in a 10% decrease in the market price of the finished product?? Boiler, buddy...that doesn't even make sense.
