GOP Expecting Trump Indictment Soon After Election Day

So Tom is ok with someone stealing the country's most top secret documents and hiding them in his house...and then lying to and obstucting the government who tries to get them back....and then makes up a story about how they were planted there.

And Tom is free to feel that way if he wants to.   But Tom cant lecture anyone about crime sprees or defuding the police. ....because clearly Tom doesnt give a shit about either,.

Sandy Berger actually stole top secret documents by hiding them in his pants & received 2 years probation. Hillary had top secret files on a server in her bathroom & nothing hapoened.

Apparently it is not that big a deal.

Trump may or may not have declassified the documents. It remains to be seen.

Presidents have the power to declassify documents. Private citizens do not.

Hillary didn't steal any documents--she had copies on her server. And none of them were "top secret."

DUHHH, Tom.

If the GOP regains the house,  which is predicted,  the Jan. 6th committee will come to an early end.  Impeachment hearings will start for Biden, Garland and others.  Any chance of indictments for Trump, and his allies, Flynn, Eastman, Clark, Bannon and all the rest will go away.

Biden should not run in 2024, he's too old and not well liked.  Trump should not run, he is unelectable.  Desantis is probably going to be elected in 2024.  Democrats have no one to run.

If McMullin can beat Lee in the Utah senate race, that will be a win for normalcy and a defeat for Trumpers and will trigger Trumps losing control over the GOP.  This could be a sedgeway for the moderates to form a third party and send the far right and far left to the obituaries.  It could also revitalize Cheney's political career.

The Justice dept would be doing the Republican party a massive favor.

Trump has said he wants Marjorie Taylor Greene to be his VP when he runs for 2024.   And that might make David MIller's dick hard - but it translates to a ZERO percent chance  of him getting elected.   As bad as you might think Joe Biden's approval ratings are - Trump's are 10 points lower....and with the space laser chick it would be even worse.

Two years of Trump shitting over the rest of the GOP candidates would go a long way to making them unfavorable to the base....and he is unfavorable to everyone else.    So if Merrick Garland indictes Trump you should say "thank you" if you are a Republican voter.    Instead I expect more violence like what we say with the Pelosi house.

Agreed - thank you from this Republican if it happens.

It is amazing the false statements kevin makes that are easy to prove as false

Presidents have the power to declassify documents.

Trump was a president

Hillary didn't steal any documents--she had copies on her server. And none of them were "top secret."

She had state department documents on a private server  - a no no

And they were top secret

Clinton handed over 30,000 emails to the State Department, of which 110 contained classified and top secret information at the time they either were sent or received, according to the FBI’s findings

As noted by the New York Times, Comey said it was “possible” that enemy foreign governments had accessed Clinton’s personal email account.

The Federal Records Act requires that all communication in certain branches of government be recorded on government servers, and it forbids the use of a personal email account for government business

Clinton deleted 31,000 emails deemed personal in nature before turning the emails over to the State Department.

We will never know if they were personal

I truly wonder if Kevin really buys his own gibberish.

Everything on Hillary's server was NOT classified at the time it was sent.  SOme time later it was deemed classified.  ANd at no time did Hillary violate any law.  She was in villation of state dept guidelines.    You can call that careless...you can call that bad judgement....you cant call it illegal.   And yet you spent 2 years demanding she be locked up for something that was not illegal.

And now you are defending the previous president who actually did break the law by taking known top-secret doucments and storing him at his house AS A CIVILIAN....and THEN LYING ABOUT IT TO FEDERAL OFFICIALS...and then FABRICATING A FALSE NARRATIVE ABOUT HOW THEY GOT THERE.     All three of these of things are felonies.  And TOM gives them his full blessing while talking out of the other corner  of his mouth about Hillary.

If you haven't figured it out by now - Tom is not someone you should attempt to take seriously in any discussion.

PJ schooled Tom quite effectively on this one, so I suggest you read his recent post.

You're making yourself look quite the fool by climbing into bed with Tom.

ANd at no time did Hillary violate any law.

She violated the Federal Records Act which is a law passed by Congress & signed by obama

Everything on Hillary's server was NOT classified at the time it was sent.

Not correct

FBI Director James Comey said more than 2,000 emails contained classified information and some of them “bore markings indicating the presence of classified information.”

We don't know if trump declassified those documents as president.

If Clinton as a civilian can have top secret documents without penalty, then so can Trump
