It’s not just conservative tv and radio hosts. I always laughed when Newt Gingrich would rant about the elitist liberals living in dC taking the subways.....even as he lived in the same exact neighborhood.
but then again he’s the guy who was critical of Bill Clinton’s infidelity while he himself was cheating on his wife.

Don't forget about Paul Ryan. For years he sold himself as a guy that detested the liberal establishment in Washington so much so that he supposedly slept on his office on a cot when Congress was in session and then he ran back to Janesville, Wisconsin every weekend to live among the "real" people.
When he retired, he claimed it was so he could spend more time with his family in Janesville and get out of the corrupting influence of Washington. He went to Janesville alright, but just long enough to sell his home. Then he relocated his whole family to the Washington DC area so he could start his career as a lobbyist.
There is a reason the term wingnut welfare exists. There is no easier way to make a living than milking gullible conservatives, like David Miller, out of their cash.

That's not how it's done. For example, those who host shows on ESPN, live in two places..........Bristol, CN, and LA. Those who host shows for Fox live near NY.

There's not a lot of Blue-Diamond restaurants in Hattiesberg. And the live perfomance venues in Lincoln, NE leave alot to be desired. Neither of which is an issue for a non-elitist, in-touch common folk. But for Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh- yeah, thats a big problem.
And the funniest part is the biggest out-of-touch elitist on the planet is the one they all voted to be president.

I have friends who are quite wealthy. One of my best friends, who's home I stay at regularly, is worth about $25 million. Neither he, nor any of my very financially stable friends classify restaurants as liberal or conservative. They classify them as Italian, steak joints, etc.. They do classify restaurants as great, good, or mediocre. I've never had a friend talk about politics as a reason to eat at a restaurant.
Apparantly Liberals do this, but we do not. Besides, it's liberals who are most likely to harrass one at a restaurant because of political views. We just want a nice meal.

Me too. I eat where I want to either try the food or I like the food. In my own town or on vacation. I have never been questioned by a matre 'd or server or manager about my political views whether at a fast food joint or a high end place. I have stayed at Motel 6s, Holiday Inns, Omni and Four Seasons hotels, same reception, no questions. I occasionally get front row seats at sold out concerts. Either I paid for them voluntarily, won them on a radio contest, or Host comp. I guess the elitist out of-touch-mega-millionaire conservatives and liberals who happen to be there too have decent manners and don't make a scene about themselves or my sitting at the next table.
Seems to be a lot of have-and-have-not sensitivity amongst the KS crowd. Not sure why I keep checking in. I guess the laughs are worth trudging through the ridiculous.
