Herd Immunity

So stupid to associate vaccine with election day.   Looking for an excuse not to take one when it is available.  

If, in a weird universe, every other country had a vaccine and the US did not, people would be screaming for one.   That's just how people are sometimes.  Offer something, they won't take it for stupid reasons.  Make it hard to get, they'll want it.

People viciously attack me whenever I express criticism of Trump and his handling of the virus, but the simple fact is that due to his incompetence and deliberate slowing down of our response to the virus for at least two months, we've lost about 60,000 more people than we would have under a competent and responsible leader.

So do I hate the man who has killed 60,000 of my fellow Americans, including two close friends? You bet I do. Do I wish him ill? You bet I do. And so should everyone else.

Whatever vaccine we do get will be less effective because of him, as well, and who knows what the death toll from that will be.

If Democrats were in charge there would be 20 million deaths, again it is so easy to throw around numbers.

Actually, we probably have some good test cases for that.

Countries with robust universal health insurance that were aggressive about lockdowns and masks have done infinitely better than our current ClusterTrump. For example, all of New Zealand has fewer cases than the White House.

Speaking of lies, according to NZ, New Zealand has had 38 cases since September 20. 

Ah, you are right (for once). New Zealand had fewer NEW cases than the White House. Also, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Uruguay, and others.

The number of cases of covid, here and elsewhere, are directly related to how the public has responded to the proven safety guidelines. Reported numbers from other countries can not be verified. 

As long as you're going to make idiot speculations, why not say there would be eleventy squadillion deaths and the earth would spiral into the sun?

MORE herd immunity in the White House orbit, including now the White House Press Secretary. Boilerman must be so happy!
