Here Is What Failed Presidential Leadership Looks Like

Kevin Lewis writes: "DonDiego has no logical reason to lie about Detroit, so given that he's a Trumper, racism must be why."

i. Please identify the "lie" about Detroit to which Kevin Lewis refers, . . . and why it must be associated with racism. 

i.a. Please identify the "racism" expressed by poor old DonDiego. Kevin Lewis persists in repeating this charge against poor old DonDiego, without any reference to something which poor old DonDiego has actually written. 

ii. Poor old DonDiego and his wife have only been to "The Motor City" one time,. . . for an NFL game.  He spent a weekend downtown - enjoyed some good food, really liked the automated light rail system for zipping around downtown, won a smidgen in the casino, and even observed a bit of the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

ii.a. Poor old DonDiego experienced no unpleasantness with any Black or White or "other" individuals whom he met.

iii. Poor old DonDiego voted for President Trump because the alternative was The Hillary, a truly despicable human being.

iii.a. DonDiego would prefer a Party more attuned to the basic principle of Conservatism as espoused by Henry David Thoreau: "That Government is best which governs least."  But he settles for the Republican Party because it is closer to this principle than the Democrat Party; and choosing a minor party is equivalent to throwing one's vote away.

ii.a.1 A Government which governs less is preferable because limiting Government powers to the essentials leads to smaller Government, and less intrusion into citizens' lives, and fewer expenditures if it's run well.

Anyway, . . . DonDiego reminds Kevin Lewis to specify the lie of which he is accused.  Thanks !

DonDiego lied when he stated that the recent deaths in Detroit were due to its city/county leadership. They were actually due to the coronavirus.

DonDiego lies when he states that Hillary Clinton is/was a despicable human being, and by implication, that Trump is/was less despicable. That is not a matter if opinion. The behavior of the two is not even remotely comparable.

DonDiego lies when he states that less government betters the human condition. The history of the world shows the exact opposite. That conservative shibboleth is as persistent as it is dead wrong.

DonDiego has consistently supported the lie that large American cities have suffered from large numbers of coronavirus deaths because they are "run by Democrats."

And worst of all, DonDiego supports the lie that the actions of Donald Trump are excusable.

i. DonDiego speculated that the President of the United States was likely a lesser influence than failure of local caregivers.  

ii. Hillary Clinton is a despicable human being.

iii. Kevin Lewis has an issue with Henry David Thoreau and many political theorists wiser than poor old DonDiego.

iv. Poor old DonDiego requests a citation where poor old DonDiego suggested Democrat leadership causes coronavirus death.

v. DonDiego would need to consider each specific action by President Donald Trump before supporting/disagreeing/excusing it.
