There are a number of witnesses that say otherwise. There are a number of other potential charges that apparently weren't even investigated. 

All of this points to a Justice dept that is in the control of the democrats & the Biden gang. Having the president's son being investigated by the man that his father hired is a fraud. 

HB took a plea deal ..that's that. Have the resident liberals here looked at / read the recently released IRS transcripts of the whistleblower testimonies related to  HB's IRS tax case? Consider it..maybe even do it..you know just for fair fun? Then you can all run back in here and discount a considerable degree of evidence for/of a biased DOJ ( including AG Garland, amongst a host of others) in this case and some at least partial truths. Then you can refer to all these testimonies as comic cartoons, etc...and re-lambast the oversight committee and all the sorry-assed Republicans.

Particularly, I'd be interested in what Mark has to say regarding the veracity of these testimonies and whether any bias occurred or not..because he's at times pretty reasonable ( despite the reality that I'm miles apart from him on most political issues). Plus, he apparently has legal training / background...maybe some merit there.

Gordian knot cut: we don't have access to all the information/evidence/data in such a case, and unless we want to simply yeep that any outcome unfavorable to "our side" is ipso facto proof of heinous bias, we accept that outcome. For instance, there may be what you (inaccurately) call "whistleblower testimonies," but does reading the (redacted? complete?) transcripts give you any info on how thoroughly that testimony was vetted and how credible the testator was found to be?

You see, Charles...you're not doing that at all. You claim "evidence of bias," but that so-called evidence is nothing more than an outcome you didn't like. What's your ACTUAL evidence of such bias? Because the decision itself that was reached won't cut it. It can't.

So I don't want to be the guy in the nosebleed seats screaming at the referee because I think he blew the call--from my vantage point 75 yards away. I'd be really proud of you if you'd admit that that's what you're doing. Bias isn't "decided the way I didn't want." And since bias is a human emotion--exactly how would you intend to show it existed in the hearts and minds of those who made the decision?
