How are you going to spend you check?

The Venezeula checks are on the way !  How are you going to spend yours? 

Based upon what I've read about the income parameters I'm not sure I'm going to get one.   But I guess I cant complain - my employer is still paying all of us.   SO I guess I dont need it. 

 But still, its free money, bitches !  I want my Republican Socialist check too.   Just send me one for the amount of one penny so I can frame it on my wall.     I want a point of reference every time a right winger scare mongers about Democrats and Socialism.

Oh, dear David, can't you even begin to fathom how hilarious your tribal comments about Socialism are in the wake of this bailout?  I mean - they were already hilarious given the tariffs and the soybean thing ...but now?

DonDiego, just as PJStroh, isn't sure how much - if any - "free money" his wife and he are likely to receive.

Whatever check(s) they do receive will be deposited into the bank;  DonDiego expects no change in his spending specifically based upon receipt of this "free money".

"They're just throwing money at the problem," "it'll bankrupt the country," "it will cause runaway inflation," "they didn't even read the bill," "the bill is x-thousand pages long," "it will be the largest deficit in history," "I'll balance the budget in the first year and pay off the national debt by the end of my term," "don't tell Trump what comes after a trillion,"--hilarious!

It doesn't matter what you do or do not spend it on. What matters is once you accept it you are practicing socialist. 

I've spent little time researching this, but the best I can tell I won't get a check.

Definition

Socialism:  a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

DonDiego opines the Government "giving away money" falls short of the definition of "socialism".  But it could be a start.

On the other hand, if  Mark wants to call poor old DonDiego a Socialist, DonDiego cannot stop him.

Creating exchanges for private sector health insurance companies false short of that definition too.   But that didn’t stop DonDiego from using that word .  

The new definition of “socialism” is anything United States conservatives disagree with.   

If you filed income taxes in 2018 or 2019, you'll get a check, unless your gross income was greater than $75K, in which case you would receive a decreased amount on a sliding scale.

Families with dependents (again, referring to prior tax returns) would receive more.

If you have direct deposit set up for tax refunds, social security, or other recurring government payments, you'll get the money that way rather than a physical check.
