How long would it really take Ukraine pilots to become proficient in F-16's

The link that I posted addressed the opinion of a US fighter pilot who has completed this specific flight training.  If Todd believes that this educated opinion, based on results of this pilot and thousands of other fighter pilots, then I don't know what to tell you.  FACT:  THE TRAINING TAKES 69 DAYS WITH NO DAYS OFF.  EXPERIENCED ENGLISH SPEAKING FIGHTER PILOTS CAN REASONABLY BE EXPECTED TO COMPLETED THE TRAINING WITHIN 90 DAYS.

People with simple and closed minds can't see the truth even when it slaps them in the face.

You admit it's an opinion yet claim that it's fact.

A classic example of a simple and closed mind.

Try harder, Cliff.

Todd, is it a fact that thousands of fighter pilots have completed this F-16 training within 3 months?  Yes it is.

It is opinion that Ukraine fighter pilots could do the same.  A very educated opinion.

Is Todd telling us that he believes that Ukraine pilots aren't smart enough to complete this training?  If not, why can't they do what thousands of others have done?

Boil's ''very educated'' source... https://www.thedrive.com/

Why does our resident Cliff Clavin refuse to address the logistics of having F-16's?

It isn't just a matter of training pilots. It's moving all the unique infrastructure needed to service and maintain the planes thousands of miles, into a war zone. It's training mechanics and logistics and support personnel. AND...who's going to train them?

Boiler, you're a very simplistic thinker. It's a LOT more complicated than stuffing some planes into shipping crates along with an "F-16s For Dummies" book.

Within 5.5 months of the invasion of Iraq, we moved forces into place to attack Iraq forces in a major way.  This included hundreds of sorties on any given day.  Anyone arguing that we can't provide support from far more near air bases is ..................frankly Lyin' Liberal bullshit..

Never ever trust a Lyin' Liberal.  The next thing you know, Liberals will tell us that Sleepy, family and friends weren't selling favor to Russia, China, Ukraine and other places.  I know that that you LIbs have been living under a rock and don't know about this.  Note to you guys, Hunter's laptop was real!

Also, one my Purdue friends that I'll be with in Las Vegas in October, was the lead pilot of a 22 Apache bregade of helicopters in Desert Storm.  Two stints.  Theo retired about 15 years ago as a CW5.

As already said - the decision has nothing to do with wanting or not wanting to help Ukraine.   And since Boilerman says he supports politicians who openly  reject any aid for Ukraine his complaints are really just an exercise in partisan sour grapes.

China is considering arming Russia with munitions.    In the absence if that supply chain Russia is running on empty with a manufactuting base that has been decimated by sanctions and a rapidly shrinking work force due to any able bodied man under 30 fleeing the country.

The Pentagon is using the F-16's as a stick to deter China's consideration.     If China sends munitions to Putin you can bet the F-16's will be greenlighted.   In the meantime there are people in the Pentagon whose "expert guess"   is alot more informed than anything Boilerman has insight into.

Isn't it amusing how Boiler styles himself an expert on so many things he actually doesn't know jack shit about?
