How long would it really take Ukraine pilots to become proficient in F-16's

I don't think so. China's not going to have a fire sale. If Putin gets paid in munitions, that'll be instead of the money, raw materials, food, etc. he gets now for Russia's oil...so trading for missiles will exacerbate Russia's current shortages and make them even more broke than they are now.

Furthermore, China doesn't have very much modern weaponry. They're not going to be willing to sell off their best stuff. To their minds, their armed forces are for future expansion in their sphere of influence and taking over neighboring countries when the time is right. They don't want to weaken themselves just to help out the Russians.

We can absolutely stop it from happening by threatening to impose trade penalties.

3.  Are Ukarine fighter pilots as smart as US fighter pilots?  Lyin' Libs, true or false?

I didn't mention the length of Ukrainian airfields. I mentioned that an F-16 squadron needs myriad support personnel, trained mechanics, spare parts, supplies, and all sorts of specialized infrastructure. You can't just land a bunch of planes at an airfield and say "This is a functioning airbase."

It's not a matter of the intelligence of the pilots. It's a matter of how and whether they can be trained. Tell me, Boiler, how many F-16 trainers speak Ukrainian? How many repair manuals, flight manuals, and other written materials are written in Ukrainian? How many Ukrainian pilots are fluent enough in English to understand highly technical materials and instruction?

A comparison with the Iraq war is idiotic, because the US was actively at war and had personnel in the combat zone. That won't happen in Ukraine.
