How long would it really take Ukraine pilots to become proficient in F-16's

PJ, do you really think that we and Ukraine can outlast Russia in a war that lasts for years?  Russia will not end this unless they are crushed.  To do that, we need to give Ukraine the equipment to crush Russia.  Otherwise, this is just another Viet Nam...........fighting while woke.

Ukraine is getting unlimited munitions from NATO.  Russia is running on empty with no ability to replenish.   

China is posturing themselves as a solution to that problem.   You want that to happen, right?  Cause thats what you are advocating by greenlighting the F-16s

I wonder how Russia would pay for those munitions anyway. They're flat broke, and with no source of credit. Whatever China might be contemplating, I doubt that they're just going to give that stuff away. We also have substantial leverage with China--Biden could cut off trade, either selectively or completely. China doesn't exactly love Russia--not enough to strangle their own trade routes, anyway.

 

I'd like to see a dramatic escalation of the stuff we send to Ukraine--longer-range artillery, upgraded weaponry. etc., and yes, F-16s. And we tell China that if they send anything to Russia (paid for or not), it will cost them our trade relationship. They won't destroy their economy just to help Russia.

 

What this ultimately is, is a war of money. Guess who's winning.
