''I am a Viet Nam veteran''- David Miller

1). Being a Hospital Corpsman(medic), I decided that 4 years was enough and did not want to end up in country in Viet Nam and possibly come home in a box. 2)I respect our nation in more ways that you could ever know. President Trump is loved by the military (which Obama decimated) and he is no traitor, like your Daddy Obama. 3). I have more common decency in my little toe that YOU have in your mentally twisted body. I give respect where and when respect is EARNED, respect that you will never have from me or any veteran. And 4). I am a much better person that you will ever be.-- #5). You, Kevin, are what is wrong with our nation. You have a false sense of unearned rights, that, by the way, you abuse everyday. You have no respect for the sacrifices that many have given so that you can live in our fine nation. In actuality, you are nothing but a foul mouthed, spoiled, misguided, pompus windbag with an over inflated sense of worth. Does that answer your inane, asinine questions? Knowing you, even though you have received the answers, you will continue to run your mouth and essentially prove to everyone that you are who I have depicted.

You evidently learned absolutely nothing from your military service.

Stolen valor is bad, but so is accusing someone of it without convincing evidence. Do you disagree?

I assume we're all willing to concede that Stalker did, indeed, serve in the military, regardless of the person he's become since then. That aside, the term "stolen valor" means fraudulently identifying oneself as a current or former member of the military who has been awarded a decoration (per the act passed in 2013) for material gain. Stalker does not claim to have been decorated.

It is difficult to imagine him earning a military award, but his personality may have been less damaged then.

And so it goes.

So you're NOT a Viet-Nam Veteran as you claimed.

So many lies, Davee-boi.

Anyone who served during the Viet Nam era in the military is considered a Viet Nam veteran. You, toad, have not answered my question, what is your personal military history? I gather that you have not served your nation, but have only enjoyed the benefits of living in the U.S.

Thank you for your service, David.

Yes, thank you David.

Candy and Boilerman - I appreciate your thanks, but like most Viet Nam era veterans I am somewhat uncomfortable with the acknowledgement that I receive. When I was in the service and when I got out, we who served were not thought of highly or recognized as being worthy of any kind of recodnition or praise or thanks. After all these years, I have not thought much of it. I served because it seemed the right thing to do and I don't regret the time I had in the service. I learned a lot about other countries and people that most Americans never get to know. Here in America we have a lot of people who don't have a clue as to what life is elsewhere in the world. We have it so good here - I get tired of all of the petty bitching and whining from those who are lucky enough to have been born here. By the grace of God, and for no other reason, each of us born here in America should be thankful. What we take for granted here, other people around the world would do almost anything to have. None of us had a thing to say about where we were born, or the color of our skin, of whether we were born into money or poverty. Think about that. All we really have is the time between our birth and the day we die - make the most of it and quit your incessant, petty bitching. Be thankful for what you have.  ---Sermon over.

I am thinking of visiting Nam when travel is safe again. They have nice beaches and inexpensive dining and accommodations.
