If a good vaccine is not found, how long are you willing to hide?

I've been done for a while.

No one wants to know what you've done.

I'm staying isolated for two very good reasons: my safety and that of everyone in my community. Being safe can be called "hiding" by any idiot who's too brain-dead and/or undisciplined to control himself.

The eight of us are going to have dinner in a few. Our small gathering is legal, as it isn't in a public space. But we have ascertained that it's very unlikely that any of us is carrying the virus--we have all been tested and got negative results within the past six days. And four of us are members of the same family who normally spend their time together anyway. The other four are of the same family as well.

Nonetheless, all of us have been following, and will continue to follow, state guidelines for mask wearing and social distancing in any public space--indoor or outdoor.

It's sad that Boiler and his ilk don't have the patience to follow simple instructions and so many people will die as a result.

Who cares?  Its irrelevant.

Europe has proved its possible to contain the viruis spread by having an intelligient national response based upon medical recommendations from people who know what they are talking about.

The Unites States has taken their response from the same people who inform Republicans about climate change.

And thats why we have record numbers of infected while Europe has mostly put this disease in the rearvew mirrow

Leadership matters....and so does knowledge.

We have too many people like Boiler, who decided some time ago that he wasn't going to act responsibly or show common decency, to be able to recover from this pandemic any time soon.

He thinks he's a manly man by acting as if the coronavirus has magically gone away. He is actually an idiotic idiot.

How long will you stay home if no vaccine is found?

I will follow the guidelines set down by the CDC and the rules imposed by local and state authorities until such time as those guidelines and rules are rescinded or lifted.

I will leave my home when I consider it necessary, and when I do, if I am in a public space, I will wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Unlike Boilerman, I do not consider this an intolerable burden and am happy to restrict my behavior to keep myself and others safe.

So you don't care about helping the economy recover. Okay then.

When the next round of Venezeula checks go out because our economy is still closed we'll all know who to thank.     

And the best part is - those people consider themselves to be fiscal hawks.
