I'm heading downtown to do some looting in support of social justice.

I'm not surprised that rioters across the country are responding in such brutal fashion---even with these protests not being peaceful. I'm also very surprised at all the brutality inflicted on average citizens.

Trump is, of course, telling the truth  when he says that the protests are being fueled by left-wing extremist groups. The reality is that Antifa and other left wing groups are involved in the violence. Trump's trying to serve the same function he always has---to quell the social division.

I have no doubt that with the killing of Floyd and the rioters brutality we're seeing are the result of an overall lying, liberal DemocRatic culture. Fortunately, the current ruling political party does not share that view. And the worst part of it is---the lying DemocRatic racism is so automatic and reflexive that they don't even see it. - Corrected to read truthfully.

More stupid, weak, unimaginative, limp-dick Stalker plagiarism.

Who's "rioting" ?

From USA Today:

"The mayor later acknowledged the majority of arrests so far have been of Minnesota residents.

Leggat, the security consultant, said intelligence reports from his colleagues indicate most of the hard-core protesters in Minneapolis are far-left or anarchists, and that far-right groups have not yet made a significant appearance. He said looting is typically done by locals – usually people with no criminal record who just get caught up in the moment.

But direct conflicts with authorities come from a mix of both locals and outside groups who see these conflicts as a core part of their mission. Many of the anarchists, he said, target banks, chain-type businesses and even luxury cars as symbols of corrupt institutions. He said even a peaceful protest can turn violent if outside agitators decide to participate, hijacking the message."

Regardless of your political persuasion, this didn't have to happen.  And it is not helpful to name call like children as if anyone of one or the other is to blame.   Childish.  Stupid.

Three other cops standing around watching their partner do what he was doing.  If there was concern that Floyd might overpower the cop, why the hell did the other three just stand there?   Where was the training?

From wikipedia

"Officers Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng, and Thomas K. Lane participated in Floyd's arrest, with Kueng holding Floyd's back, Lane holding his legs, and Thao looking on as he stood nearby."

Chinese media:

So when Americans take to the streets in an eruption of rage against systemic racism that has afflicted their country since its founding, they are “rioters” who deserve to be shot dead? But when radicals in Hong Kong go on the rampage, hurling petrol bombs, destroying public property and lynching anyone who objects to their excesses in the name of democracy, they are mighty champions of freedom? The cognitive dissonance makes one’s head spin.

What DonDiego is being fooled by is that most of the violent acts are being committed by right-wing white supremacist groups---especially in that neck of the woods---in an attempt to discredit the peaceful protestors.

Of course this didn't have to happen. But I'm more concerned with the culture behind the incident than the incident itself.

1. Trump ran, and was elected, on a platform of overt racism.

2. He has, on several occasions, expressed support for white supremacists.

3. Twice, he's spoken to gatherings of police chiefs and encouraged them to beat up suspects.

4. He described the protestors as "thugs" in a recent ass-tweet.

Now, we know there are millions of people who follow Trump slavishly and hang, open-mouthed, on his every word. We have several such people here.

Is it surprising, then, that some of those loyal Trump followers are cops and take his words to mean that it's open season on Black people?
