I'm rooting for Johnny Ratcliffe

I grew up with the family, and keep in touch with Johnny's brother Bob, who I talked with on Sunday.  I used to sleep over at the house frequently as a kid, and was asked to write a small portion the book the family put together for their father shortly prior to his died.

The vote is too close to call, but he'd do a good job.

Why do you think he'd do a good job?

1. He has very little experience and isn't qualified.

2. He lied about his participation in an anti-terrorism case.

3. He inflated his resume.

He is being rewarded for his staunch support of Trump in past months. Appointments to important government posts should be based on ability and experience, not on having recently licked Trump's balls. Trump is trying to surround himself with loyal lackeys, regardless of their fitness for their jobs.

And the fact that you know his family is utterly irrelevant. You should disapprove of the appointment of an unqualified, dishonest Trump hack to such a vitally important post.

Kevin, please tell us about what Johnny's done in his career since you're obviously researched the situation.

Just so we're clear.   Republicans have huge reservations about Hunter Biden and his unqualifed position at a foreign, private sector company that has no consequences of any kind for US citizens or their taxdollars.

But its ok to put the president's 30 year old son-in-law in charge of Middle East policy (even when his son in law cant pass a basic background security clearance).  And Ratcliffe's expertise in foreign intelligence is  what exactly?  I mean, beyond having his head up the president's ass?

Keep that in mind next time your friendly, neighborhood Sean Hannity disciple wants to cry about Burisma.

I'm just waiting for a Liberal will post Ratcliffe's experience.

I think I did.  His experience is sucking up to Trump.   Otherwise he has no experience that I’m aware of.  .    I understand that’s a huge problem for conservatives in regards to US civilians working in private sector Ukraine...not so much for the head on Intelligence in their own country.

That's easy. Absolutely nothing that remotely qualifies him for the position Trump has nominated him for.

His sole "qualification" is having been a drooling, fawning Trump lackey--which is the only qualification you need to work for Trump. Ability, experience, or expertise---naah!

So Kevin decided Ratcliffe is not qualified without ever researching Ratcliffe's qualifications.  That's what I expected.

Johnny's a busy guy.

Oooo...you mean he got elected to Congress and serves on committees?  Just like Alexandria O COrtez who you regularly tell us is inexperienced and unqualified for everything?    Thats big.

Prior to his election John Ratclif was a lawyer.  Oh, and uh, not the reputable kind.   He was the lawyer that had an ad on the side of a bus asking if you've been injued in an accident.....Ever watch "Better Call Saul" on AMC?

and then he spent 3 years in the department of justice where he claims he prosecuted and convicted terrorrists....but cant name one name.   And no court records show he ever worked on any terrorist case.

So in summary, John Ratcliffe is a perfect fit in the Trump Administration.   He has no qualifications but he does put our president before his country....and has no qualms about lying into a microphone to the American People.  AMbulance chasers are good at that.
