There's the name calling I assured that would happen.  Claims of racism likely to follow.

In 2013, prior to emergency managers, the democratic Flint city council voted 7-1 to make the switch, after Detroit (Democrat's) cut off their water supply. 

Subsequently the emergency mgr (a Democrat) signed off in the plan. 

The Michigan DEQ suppressed concerns over the water. The EPA, whose democratic head was selected by Obama was aware of the problem did nothing. 


While Snyder bears some responsibility, the Flint mess was largely made by the Democrats. 

 

"The emergency manager for Flint, Michigan, appointed by Gov. Rick Snyder in 2012, rejected using the city’s river as drinking water after consulting with the state’s environmental protection agency".
