Yeah, it probably wouldn't be the first time that Don smiled when someone said, "I can't breathe."
See Donald, you were just accused of being a racist. The nuts are all around us.

You Won Toad! Dumbest poster of the Internet! Ever!
I'm old enough to remember when Democrats were terrified of the Coronavirus. The thought of thousands of people shoulder to shoulder yelling slogans and mixing snot droplets on their fellow protesters would have seemed stupid to them way back then. Hypocrites.
I guess we'll see in a couple of weeks if there are big new outbreaks in the protest cities. But I can predict it now. They'll just blame it all on the police. Oh wait a minute. They already are. Then it will be because...Racism. Then "It's all Trump's fault".

Wow, Charles, that's breathtakingly stupid.
The protests are not expressions of "the Democrats." They're expressions of the Black community (and yes, anyone else who wants to show solidarity wiith them). It's already been discussed ad nauseum that the protestors are putting themselves at risk by gathering in large groups.
But maybe they think it's worth it. Can you grasp that concept?
Note that the gatherings don't endanger anyone who doesn't want to take the risk. I can't speak for the mindset of the Black community. I can't say that they should or shouldn't be protesting. But I do know that it's their absolute right to do so.
As far as how Democrats are reacting, their attitude is the same. They point out that these people are exercising their rights. I know that's something that you, Charles, as a rabid Trumper lackey, vehemently disapprove of.

DonDiego might wonder--as do I--whether if cops killed half a dozen unarmed white people in the space of a few weeks, he might join in such protests despite the danger.
I don't judge the protestors because I don't live in their world and don't know what it's like. I'm sure that for them, their frustration and anger is more real than it is for me, as an abstraction.
Rational and non-agitating thoughts/words from Kevin with which I can identify! I have been amazed at the expending of time and energy, and creativity (the signs, costumes) by so many demonstrating their emotion and support non-violently. Like Kevin, I have never been close enough to anything like it to put myself out there. "Abstraction"...good word. I know of police brutality; like the dark side of the moon, though, I doubt I'll ever experience it.
i. Kevin Lewis writes: "DonDiego might wonder--as do I--whether if cops killed half a dozen unarmed white people in the space of a few weeks, he might join in such protests despite the danger."
No need to wonder. Poor old DonDiego would be very unlikely to join in any such protest, even if there were no danger. It ain't DonDiego's thing.
Note: The only comment poor old DonDiego made about protestors was: " . . . he [DonDiego] won't discourage others from participating, . . . y'know - based on free speech rights and things like that."
[boldface added]
ii. Boilerman opines: "See Donald, you were just accused of being a racist. The nuts are all around us."
If such an accusation was really what MisterPicture intended, perhaps his accuser should provide some evidence of poor old DonDiego being racist.
(Oh, . . . and it's "DonDiego", not "Donald".)
''I'm old enough to remember when Democrats were terrified of the Coronavirus.''
So that makes you about 4 months old, Chuckles.
Now here's your suck toy.
