🤣 David, you need to read the third paragraph in that article. The Judge comes right out and says his court is not the proper place to decide that matter.  BTW state court rulings are not precedent for Federal Courts. Read the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution.

You also might want to read the actual indictment. It address in great detail how speech that is part of a criminal scheme is not protected.

Trump isnt charged with telling lies about the election.

Trump is charged with trying to overturn the election results with fake electors, pressuring MIke Pence, pressuirng state governors to gin up votes, and instigate mob attack on the Capital...and then telling all people not to cooperate with the investigation into those things.    Nevermind the campaign financial violations, sexual assault, and secret document debacle.
